The management structure of the company generally refers to the organization of the

corporate structure or the structure of the management of the company changes with the goals
and objectives of the business organization. On the other hand according to, Belrhiti et al.

MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS
Definition and roles of the managers and leaders
Both the managers and the leaders of a business organization are an integral part of
the business (Boya and Rao 2018). It is important for the management of the business to
ensure the presence of both the managers as well as the efficient leaders in an organization.
Though managers and leaders seem to have the same task and characteristics, they both are
quite different in nature and have a large number of different business activities. On the other
hand according to, Belrhiti et al. (2016) the general discussion and definition of both the
leaders and managers can help address the answer.
Manager
A manager is a particular person who works as a responsible employee of an
organization. He is tasked by the management of the organization to efficiently control all the
four different functions that are included in the management of the business. This includes,
planning, organizing, leading and controlling. It is important for the management to ensure
the success of the business in a proper manner. Carrying out the different managerial duties is
considered to be one of the formal part of the job description of the management of the
business organization.
Leader
According to, Alston, G., (2017) the most basic definition for a leader is the fact that
leaders do not have to be necessarily someone who can act as a manager. The leaders gain
popularity because of their attitude, personality and behaviour. The presence of the leadership
abilities helps a person to be distinguished and recognized as a business leader. It is important
for the management of the business leader to ensure the success of the business in a proper
and effective manner. However, according to, Brasfield (2015) the leader generally do not
possess formal or official power that can help them dominate or control the business

proceedings. However, the presence of the most effective personality qualities separates a
leader from the rest of the fleet and makes them the person who must be followed.

the management of the company to believe and strongly focus on the internal theories of the
business and gain a proper understanding of the same in a proper manner.
