INTRODUCTION
Leaders plays a vital role in growth and development of the economy. Moreover, this
plays a major role when it comes to implementing new plan and strategies within the country.
Moreover, the economic growth of manufacturing sector in Africa has been very low from past
few years which is 4.3%. Beside, Africa is insignificant player in global trade with and export
share of 2.2 percent (Economic Development in Africa report 2015). Thus, it can be said that
services act as tonic in African Development strategies and which results in African economy is
growing by 5 % per year. The essay will analyse my contribution as a young African leader in
different areas of development in Africa.
DEVELOPMENT
I will take full responsibility of general well being and demonstrate my strong passion for
Africa's Development. Being a young African leader I would contribute in the 5 areas of
development plan which are as follows:
1. Light up and Power Africa: After examining the growth of all the continents of Africa I
analysed that, there is a major need to implement the power plan in order to light up all
the areas of Africa. This is the power based development in the Africa and for this I need
to evaluate various fluctuations like, changes in climatic conditions, green growth, and
renewable energy in order to provide adequate supply power among all the continents of
Africa. Therefore, I will focus on establishing easy power supply, to implement the solar
energy program which will enhance the power supply within all the continents of Africa.
Thus, this strategy of lighting up the country will assist every citizen in using ener as it is
not a costly process.
2. Feed Africa: For the African development it is important for leaders to understand the
management of agribusiness development, production and sustainability which will help
the citizens in overcoming their poverty and unemployment. Moreover, being an African
leader I will be keeping check over changes and updation in the agriculture process which
will help me in dealing with changes quickly according to all the other countries. Hence,
I will even focus on developing the rural areas of Africa in order to enhance the overall
African development. Moreover, I will examine all the development factors of continents
which will assist me in eradicating poverty from the country and can help in enhancing
economic development of all the continents of Africa.

3. Integrate Africa: Further, I have the perfect knowledge of macro and micro policies of
government which can impact the formulation and implementation process. Besides, I am
aware about the statistics of economic and social environment which will help me in
expanding business processes by identifying and managing risk on time.
4. Industrialize Africa: Moreover, being an African leader I will assist various organisations
who are working for establishing economic welfare in the country by innovating new
ideas which can benefit the growth of all the continents in Africa (Jerven 2013).
Furthermore, I will focus on calculating the possible outcomes which can reduce the fund
investment of development plan like analysing the infrastructure of the city, transport and
logistics and financial sector which helps in cutting the waste cost. Hence, I will promote
my opinion of making optimum utilisation of resources which will enhance the mentality
of all the citizens of Africa, as everyone will focus on reducing wastage which will
further contribute to Building Today, a Better Africa Tomorrow.
5. Improve the quality of life for the people of Africa: According to my experience I will
evaluate the ways of improving the quality of life of individuals which plays a major role
in economic development. Moreover, as per my qualification and experience I am aware
about the education policy, human capital, employment, sanitation and public health.
Hence, I will implement several strategies like, establishing girl education system and
organising camps which can assist the citizens to make appropriate use of sanitation
facility, and will help me in implementing my development successfully.
Henceforth, I know that, it is important for every individual living in the society should
focus on enhancing development process so that it will not be a burden on one person. Moreover,
the individuals who have the innovative ideas which can assist the government or any
organisation in changing the development processes (Owusu 2013). In my opinion it is important
for every individual to make optimum utilisation of resources and avoid wastage (Kiragu and
et.al., 2017).
CONCLUSION
My essay on Contribution to Building Today, a Better Africa Tomorrow concluded that,
it is important for the organisation to look over the development in the country. Moreover, in this
development plan I emphasized on the qualities and skills which will assist me in establishing an
economic development plan for Africa. Hence, from the above report I summarized that it is

important for every African individual to contribute their efforts in development process of their
country which will help in establishing economic welfare.
