1. What are the three biggest concerns/challenges you have as the team leader?
Leading a team or being a leader is not an easy task. There are many challenges which are a
leader generally faces which I have experienced personally. Some of them are:
I am the captain of my school football team. Being a leader or a captain it is very
important to create integrity among the team. Creating integrity is a very difficult job to
pursue as every person is different from another (Cole, Cox and Stavros 2019).
Creating a healthy atmosphere is very difficult as there are always an ongoing
competition occurs among the team members.
The most difficult is building trust and respect for the fellow teammates among each
other.
2. What can you do to address each one? Map out a specific plan with between 2-5 ideas for
each concern/challenge.
When I met my team as a captain I become their friend. Because in my opinion, a friendly
atmosphere is a very important feature which can create a healthy relationship and also it is
important for communication also. It is my responsibility to boost up their confidence and helped
them to achieve the goal as a team. Being a captain it is my responsibility also to create
sportsman spirit among all of them. Every person is not strong in each position. Being a team it
is our duty to overcome other defects or deficiency at the field (Aydin and Fellows 2017).

3. Assess your classmates’ plans, and as great colleagues, provide them with both positive
and constructive feedback.
Sports are the greatest way with which we can learn about winning spirit, sportsmanship as well
as integrity. Nothing can teach us all of these qualities except sports. With the help of this, we
can learn the value of time, we can learn the value of health and we also can learn what the
teamwork actually means. Being a captain this sports can grow the leadership quality inside me.
This will become helpful for me for my future prospects and carrier also. A leader cannot be a
leader without his or her team and a team cannot be a team without mutual cooperation.
