 Purpose
The purpose of this review is to highlight the relationship between the contractors and the
subcontractor in the subversion of the planning of on-site medium rise building and the various

mechanisms in which the prime contractor will ascertain that the deliverables are of quality from
the subcontractors as well as the establishments of long term business relationship
 Scope
The document will be applicable to all the sections of the project. The contractor as well
as all the subcontractors will adhere to the regulations and rules as highlighted in the document.
 Methodology
I. The below guiding principles will be applied in managing all the subcontractors.
II. An establishment of a project office for effective support to the needs and concerns of the
subcontractors.
III. There will be clear and well defined and established communication channels
IV. A team will be jointly constituted who together with the team of the subcontractors so
that the areas of responsibility are clearly defined.
V. For each subcontractor, the delivers bales will be identified and the content required be
clearly highlighted in the statement of work
VI. All the difficulties for the contractor will be identified in a clear manner and detailed in
the statement of work
VII. Each of the subcontractors will have their duties clearly identified in a statement of work
as well as the constrains such as the required contents
VIII. The requirements of quality for each subcontractor will be required and clearly identified
in a statement of work as well as the necessities in order to enable for independent quality
assurance and process.

IX. The services and products which are offered by the subcontractors will be with regards to
the acceptance from the contractors.
X. Appropriate terms and conditions will be specified for each of the subcontract.
XI. Facilities will be provided in adequacy so as to meet the needs of the subcontractors.
XII. The chief contractor will be able to offers support to the subcontractors in services such
as processing of payments, invoices, in reference to the materials which will be delivered
to the contractor in an acceptable form for consignment to the contractor. The contractor
thus will generate a format requirements for the invoices.
 Background
This review concerns the tender was for the construction four stories having a floor of 1200
square meters. There is some key regulatory requirement for the construction of the above-
chosen building. Basically, these requirements are the ones which govern the whole process of
the construction of buildings and it is not limited to the selected housing

 Conclusion
The study focused on a review on various aspects of the construction after demolition of a
structure. Although the two terminologies have been used concurrently in the built
environment, the procedures are actually different. Safety requirements were found to be
useful in either process of the demolition or construction.
