Project Management Interview
The paper aims at appraising the results gathered from the interview conducted on the
building professional management. The responses are largely given regarding the various issues
affecting the project management by the project manager (Olawumi and Chan 2019). The focus
of the project management is on construction and building activities.
Interview question one
First question was on the relevant challenges which one faces on the building
professional management. The problems largely related to the initiation and implementation of
the construction project. The manager giving the response encompass on the working with the
deadline. The manager believed that some projects require three architects, 47 construction
employees as well as six civil engineers. Thus, this sums to about 56 individuals. Therefore,
working with such number to meet the deadline is a major challenge in various firms. The
problem is further believed to be speared by the dependence of the various project components.
Thus, if one team delays then it was affecting the entire project and I believe that it is important
to coordinate and set time frame for each group. This will help in avoiding various problems.
Interview Question Two
Second question was on the monitoring process which one should follow. The question
was raised on the viability of the monitoring of projects. The project coordinator agreed that
monitoring of the construction works is not only important but also essential. It is believed that
most of the project managers apply the baseline tools to access the progress of the project
(Olawumi and Chan 2019). The comparison largely grounded on the weighing of the baseline
tasks against the actual values. Also, the project manager emphasized on the application
Microsoft Excel and the creation of the project plan as the key tools for monitoring of the

projects. The Jira Software also offers key techniques on the approach of appraising the task
values against the baseline values. All the analogies must be conducted in line with the set
deadlines.
Interview Question Three
Another viable question was on the management and the application of the motivation
approach among the project team members in building professional mangement. The question
was raised on the viable concept and approach which one should use when handling the
approach. The response given by the project manager was quit insightful. The individual
emphasized on the usage of the event celebrations to make the successful milestones. The leader
also deduces on the utilization of the birthday celebrations to celebrate the outstanding project
team member (Olawumi and Chan 2019).
Interview Question Four
The final question raised in the interview was on the first steps of the construction project
planning. The question largely focused on the attainment of success as per the construction
project. The response given by the project coordinator was quite insightful. The individual
deduced that it is important to gather the working permits. Thereafter, it is important to meet
with project stakeholders and discuss how the project is going to be conducted. The meeting with
the stakeholders will also help to appraise the budget and come up with the schedule
requirements.
