INTRODUCTION
There are different types of climatic changes are see by the world in past few decades
which is not beneficial for human being. The main culprit behind these negative changes in the
environment is human being (Parnwell, 2018) . There are so many negative activities are conducted
by the human being which negatively impacts the natural environment such as deforestation,
poor waste management, contaminate the rivers and other sources of fresh water. These activities
makes the environment non satisfied living conditions. The united nations has a very serious
concerns about these issues and problems. They always try to reduce these activities so that the
environment can be better place for human being. This report is based on the measure taken by
United Nation for the protection of environment. It also states whether the authoroies would
succeed in their carbon reduction plan.
TASK
United nation has reflects serious concern about the negative changes occurred in
environment because of their negative impacts on the living condition of the human being. There
are so many natural disasters hit the world very hardly and makes makes many difficulty for the
living conditions. The members of United Nation has signed many treaties and agreements in
relation to the protection of the environment such as Paris agreements. The United nations has
focused on the reduction of carbon level from the world so that the temperature of earth can be
put on their natural level. The committee of the united nation wants to becomes net zero carbon
by 2030. the management of the authorities has developed many strategies and programmes in
relation to this. They always working on the promotion of positive environmental measures. The
brief discussion related to measures which shows the possibility of achieving the goals of United
nations are given below: (Parnwell, 2018)
Preference of customers towards use of electronic vehicles
One of the most biggest reason for the increase of carbon level is the high use of
conventional vehicle by the human being. These conventional vehicle are run on petrol and
diesel which develop huge amount of carbon emission. It is analysed from different researches
that conventional vehicles plays a major role in development of carbon emission in the world.
The carbon emission produces by conventional vehicles are very harmful for the environment

because it increases the temperature which melts the ice and increases sea level. The increase of
sea level will lead to different types of floods and natural disasters.
There are number of measures are taken by the United nation to reduce this condition and
promotion of concept of electric vehicles is the most attractive and successful method in relation
to this. The preference of the customers are also shifted towards electric vehicles due to
extensive hike in fuel prices. The preference of different car manufacturing companies are also
shifted their manufacturing units to electric vehicles. The preferences of the customers reflects
the possibility of United nation's success in carbon programme.(Julinová, Vaňharová and Jurča, 2018)
Preference of nations towards environmental issues
It is not possible for the United Nation that they individually achieve the goals of carbon
reduction because it is one of the biggest issues of the world at that time. It involves all the
countries of the world so it is the duty of all the countries of world that they contribute in
environmental plans of United nation so that their sustainable goals and objectives. There are
also some countries are present in the world which has also their own plan such as United
kingdom. The government of the United Kingdom has developed many measure in their country
to reduce the level of carbon emission. They have their own goals under which they plan to scrap
the conventional vehicles and shift their people to electric vehicles (Sharma, Bhardwaj and Singh,
2020). The government of United Kingdom has plan to become carbon neutral by the year 2030.
The respected government of the country has also ordered their car manufacturing companies
that they shifty their production towards electric vehicles and becomes free from production of
conventional vehicles by the year 2025. there are also some other companies are present in the
world which puts their focus different environmental issues sop that the goals and objectives of
United Nations can be achieved and natural diversity can be promotes.
One of the biggest need of these environmental programmes is the need of finance and
other monetary terms. The scope and working area of environmental programmes are very high
as they involves the maintenance of different measures and technology which is quite expensive.
Before the covid pandemic, all the economies of the country reflects positive growth and are able
to invest in these environmental programmes. The pandemic of covid-19 has hit the economy of
all the countries negatively and breaks the corporate wheel of the countries which enables the
economies of the world to reflects negative. (Potter, and Norville, 2019)

plan. (Achkari and El Fadar, 2020)
CONCLUSION
It is concluded from this report that the world are in serious dangers in relation to different
environmental issues such as climate changes, carbon emission and different types of pollutions.
There are different types of measures and programmes are conducted by United Nations for the
protection of natural environment are concluded in this report. There are some statements are
discussed in the above report which concludes the possible chances of success of carbon free
environment plan of UN.
