INTRODUCTION
Sustainable organization is basically a concept that helps in explaining the organization that
follows and committed for advancing the principles of sustainable development. Sustainability
within the organization means a business strategy for creating a long term value by taking into
consideration that describes how an organization operates in the ecological, social and economic
environment.sustanability supports in contributing health of the organization and it is a group of
organized individuals that focus in advancing the sustainability(Perrott, 2018). For being
sustainable organization, the company have to develop the ability within themselves for
continuously identifying the aspects that is affecting the growth of the organization in longer
period of time. The aim of the report is to discuss the concept of sustainability and its impact on
the long-term competitive advantages for organizations. Along with this, the report also
discusses attributes and capabilities that are necessary for business success in a complex and
changing environment.

In any organization, sustainability refers to the process of doing trade or business without having
any negative impact on the environment, community or groups .the sustainability within the
organization mostly focus on two aspects and which are effect which business has on the
environment and the effect which business has on the society. The sustainable organization
focuses in creating values, manage the environmental factors, environmentally friendly
production system and creating human capital. Having an sustainable organization means
building a group of people that focus in advancing the sustainability and the company have to
develop the ability for continuously recognizing the features impacting the development and
growth in the long term period. It focuses on attending the issues which are very important for
the growth of the organization rather than focusing on the urgent issues and the issues which can
affect the growth for a longer period of time(Baumgartner, and Rauter, 2019). Sustainable
competitive advantage within the organization is the combines set of skills and abilities that help
the organization in meeting and achieving the needs of the customer better than the competitor
company.

The organizations build competitive advantage by many factors like brand
fidelity, creativity and innovation, intellectual property and many others. Having sustainable
competitive advantage within the organization helps in getting success and it also enables the
organization to have more growth and sales , better revenue and profit margins and higher
consumer and employees retention than the competitive companies. There are four basic factors
that can help the organization in determining the sustainability of a company’s competitive
advantage and which are effective supply chain management, organizational sensitivity, product
separation and cost management as well. The advantages of sustainability within the
organization falls into three different categories like size of the target market , superior contact
to the consumers and limits on the competitive edge(Soyka, 2020). One of the best examples of
an organization having competitive advantage is Coca- Cola. The organization took lot of efforts
and money for developing the brand. The company is successfully positioning the products as
joy which means they are bringing happiness and harmony for their customers.

In this competitive environment, for the success of the organization there are numerous
attributes and capabilities required. For making the business more developed and successful
there are many capabilities that should be followed by the entrepreneur for the success of the
business in this competitive and changing environment. One of the important attribute is having
willingness of taking chances. The successful enterprise is developed for following stable
process of business, apart from this they are also bold and risk oriented. Helping the consumers
by providing unique value motivates the business in standing out from the competitors the
business always have consistency and persistency for retaining growth and success in the target
market and determination will allow the business in withstanding in the most difficult time and
embrace the good time as well. The business should always have a customer centric approach
and this strategy helps them in retaining the customers and also increases the sale and revenue as
well. Having strong customer focus will help the business in growing more significantly and
efficiently(Tiwari, and Raman, 2022). This allows them in creating a culture that motivates them
in focusing to their customers and providing high quality products to the customers.

In this changing environment it is very important to have good marketing
strategies for growing the business. Some of the strategies used by organizations for making
their business more successful are pay-per-click advertising, social media, digital marketing ,e –
mail marketing and many others techniques as well(Kaufman, Weaver, and Poynter, 2018.). In
addition with this, some of the other attributes for making the business successful are passionate
leaders, having strong vision and empowered employees as well as having adaptability and
diversity.

From the report it has been concluded that building a sustainable organization is very important
for gaining competitive advantage. Sustainability is the key for better future and it boosts the
workplace morals and increases the sales as well. The report have summarized that the
sustainable development within the organization means adopting some tactical strategies for
business and various activities that helps in meeting the needs of the business by defending,
filling and enhancing the human and natural assets that will be required in the future. The report
