For motivating staff and increasing productivity level, it
is essential to follow moral and equity values in
organisation. There is high level manager who
discriminate between staff with help of using harassment
and bullying that leads to negative impact on behaviour
of employees. For solving such issues, different laws
and regulation has been framed in order to assist interest
of employees towards organisation for better
development, growth and success.
Harassment- It is defined as different types of behaviours
of individuals such as offensive nature which humiliates,
demeans and embarrasses person. The manager of National
Trust faced such issues which leads to decline outcome of
business. This is also called as harming, disturbing, creating
problems, upsetting, threatening others. The respective
organisation faces various kind of harassment like sexual
and non-sexual that leads to create issues at business. It can
be managed by firm through implementing appropriate rules
and regulation and finding cause for it. The employee has
given right for filing complaints against them for getting
justice against them at organisation. For this,
communication is needed so that they can communicate
properly with their authority in order to get solution of
problems. Therefore, employees and manager has to play
various roles, duties and responsibilities to get fair treatment
against harassment.According to mentioned scenario, working employees
are going through bullying and harassment issues that
generate problems for achievement of goal and
objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
There are various types of issues that has faced by
organisation. They are mentioned below:
Bullying- This is referred as behaviour which is in
repeated nature that humiliates, harms, hurts both
physically and emotionally to individuals (Reeves, 2012).
It is considered as method of misusing power, harms and
continuous repeated nature. The employees working in
National Trust have faced issues of bullying behaviour
from high level authority or manager. For solving and
managing such issues they have to identify bullying
behaviours of other people working in organisation and
take best action for solving it in proper manner. In other
hand, employees have right to complain about bullying
behaviours of individuals to their managers with help of
communication channels. Apart from these, trade union
and laws has framed to help employees who are bullied by
organisation for different purposes.
