Introduction
Human resource management is related to hiring, selecting, training, motivating
individuals in order to accomplish the goal of the company. It is important for every company to
manage workforce efficiently to attain pre-defined organizational goals. Human resource plays a
vital role in ensuring the success and growth of the company (Macke and Genari, 2019). The
present study is based on changing dynamics of human resource management. For the current
project, BUNI Travel is being considered. It is a small organization with limited number of
employees. The organization is looking forward to adopt new and effective tools to manage
human resources within the company. The report will cover tools and techniques which will help
in improving the organizational performance. Further, role of wellbeing of employees in
enhancing motivation and performance will also discuss in the following study.
Discuss tools and techniques that will help to improve organizational performance
Organizational performance is moreover based on the competency of staff. Here, human
resource management tools and techniques are developed to maintain higher level of
performance of employees. These tools are not only helpful in evaluating the performance of
human resources but also provide scope to enhance productivity. By effective implementation of
HR tools and techniques, it is possible to improve the efficiency of workforce. It will motivate
employees to work effectively for the success of the company. Employee performance is directly
associated with the organizational performance (Stewart and Brown, 2019). HR tools and
techniques play a crucial role in improving the performance level of workforce which further
lead the organization towards success and growth. In the given case scenario, the company is
operating on the basis of traditional HR practices. Here, the company is looking forward to
implement recent HR tools & techniques for ensuring success in current competitive
environment.
Techniques
Leadership: It is a crucial technique that is often used by managers to guide employees in
suitable way. Leaders provide guidance, support to followers at each and every stage. They make
sure that employees fulfill the work with greater efficiency. For this purpose, leaders maintain
proper communication with teammates. They not only take the suggestions of employees but

also implement those suggestions if they are effective. In case of BUNI travel, they can use this
technique (Mone and London, 2018). Here, it is required to provide proper guidance to
workforce so that they can work appropriately. It will help the company to attain the set goals
and also improve the organizational performance at the same time.
Incentive System: Incentives always encourage employees to put utmost efforts in order
to ensure the success of the business entity. Under this, incentives are given to the employees as
per their level of performance. Generally incentives are based on the targets. If employees attain
the set target, they are awarded with incentives as a positive reinforcement. It is analyzed that
incentive is a crucial HR technique that is directly related to performance of workforce (Masri
and Jaaron, 2017). In context of BUNI travels, they need to maintain an appropriate incentive
system. It will stimulate employees to perform well in favor of the company. In order to gain
high incentives, employees will perform well that will eventually enhance the performance of the
organization.
Performance evaluation: For maintain high level performance of employees, it is
important to evaluate their performance in timely manner. Performance evaluation helps
employees to know their current position so that they can make improvement in the future period
of time. In this regard, benchmarks are set by the organization so that employees can improve
their performance accordingly (Nieves and Quintana, 2018 (Mehralian and et. al., 2017). In
reference of BUNI travel, it is imperative for the entity to evaluate the performance of workers.
It will help to arrange suitable training and development programs so that the overall
performance of the organization can be improved.
Tools:
In current world, technological advancements have been introduced in every sector. Even
HR is one of the crucial fields wherein ample of software tools are used so that the data of the
employees can be maintained efficiently. In this context, certain tools are mentioned below:
Human resource information system: It is the highly used software in the field of human
resource management. In most cases, HRIS maintains the basic functions which are required for
completing the process of Hr management effectively. It has a system to maintain time and
attendance, learning & development etc. It is a suitable tool to manage the workforce of nearly

are working with limited number of the people. In this situation, they can easily maintain the data
of workforce by implementing this tool. It will help in bringing efficiency and influence the
organizational performance positively.
Zoho people: It is a cloud based HR management tool which is used by the organizations so
that they can manage the data of employees appropriately. It can be used by small organizations
and can be applied in large enterprise as well. It allows HR managers to track the leaves, manage
timesheets, and manage performance appraisal and more (Soriano and et. al., 2020).Additionally,
it will allow HR managers to spend their time on focusing on work related matters. In reference
of BUNI travels, they are required to use this HR management tool. This tool will assist HR
managers in order to maintain the data of employees appropriately to minimize the hassles.
Role of employee wellbeing in improving motivation and performance
Employee wellbeing is about maintaining positive environment at work place. Main aim
of this is to facilitate higher productivity and profitability in organization. The employee
wellbeing is not about only physical wellbeing rather it focuses on the holistic wellbeing and
development of workforce. Under this, it is ensured that employees get such an environment
where they feel engagement and satisfaction. It is identified that employee wellbeing improved
the performance and productivity of individuals. It minimizes the absenteeism; enhance
engagement which further motivate them in order to work efficiently. In this context role of
employee wellbeing in enhancement of motivation and performance is mentioned below:
Keep employees loyal to business: If the business offer perks such as suitable health
plan, nutrition program and more, it enhances the value of employment. It allows employees to
stay loyal for the company. They start to appreciate the workplace and enjoy to spend time in
office. Here, employees are likely to put significant efforts for the success of the business entity.
In addition to this, they stay with the business entity for longer period of time (Boyd and et. al.,
2018). In case of BUNI travel, wellbeing of employees will help the company in maintaining
loyalty among workforce. By this, they can also motivate workforce to work efficiently for the
success of the entity.

environment. By this way, they are able to maintain high engagement of employees in working
