INTRDUCTION
People is defined as an employee who are working within organization and also fulfilling
their responsibilities and roles in their job with help of utilizing their skills and unique ideas. But
in aspect of performance it refer to overall procedure and activities of workers which is
important for finishing the task in systematic and effective way. The chosen company is BUNI
travel for evaluating the performance and working style of employees (Ghabrial and Andersen,
2021). It is the tenth biggest tourist place in United Kingdom. This report will cover different
tool and techniques which is essential for improving organizational performance, role of
employee well being in improving motivation and performance and also includes PESTEL
analysis for the company as an appendix of the report. This report is prepared with help of using
secondary data which includes journals, newspapers, magazines etc.
TASK
What techniques and tools will help to improve organizational performance
People and performance is basically a method which is applied by company for
enhancing the performance, ability and potentiality of employees in various aspects which are
described below -
Firstly, performance appraisal and it basically a technique which is used by
organizations for increasing the performance of employees. In this technique top level
management monitored the performance of lower level of employees in strict manner.
Therefore, due to keeping strictness the productivity of employees are highly essential for
sustaining for long duration. In context to BUNI travel, management must always run
their activities in legal manner. In this way strong positive relations are build between
customers and producers which leads to increase the company profit at large scale.
Second one is Key Performance indicator and in this method the performance of each
and every performance are effectively enhanced (Ginting, 2021). By using this method
management are able to identify the overall performance of the organization and their
workers effectively. In this way company easily identifies the problems of each workers
in their work place area within low time. In context to BUNI travel, management must
assign challenging task to their employees according to their specialization in particular
field. Due to assigning difficult work, their analytical skills are highly developed in long

term. After the overall development of employees they are get ready to handle any type
complicated situations and customers easily.
Third one is 360-degree feedback and it is also the different which is used by company
for enhancing the work efficiency of employees. In this process organization take
feedback of their employees directly from customers (Gontina, Fitria and Martha, 2021).
Then in this way higher authority easily understand the problems which is occurred
during the time of delivering product and services to customers from the employee. Due
to taking feedback directly from consumers work pressure are effectively sustained in
minds of the employees which leads to increase the work efficiency of employees in long
term. In context to BUNI travel, management effectively analyse feedback of each and
every consumers effectively regarding their services and products.
Fourthly, MBO (Management by objectives) and in this method also management are
focusing on their performance and productivity with help of setting specific objectives
and standards in their services and products. Due to considering objectives and standards
effectively company are able facilitate quality service to all customer segments in the
form of providing beneficial offers and ticket for holiday trip. In this way BUNI travel
are able to develop strong positive relations with customers for long time (Jatmiko and
Purba, 2021). Therefore, it is mandatory for BUNI travel that they must always maintain
standard in their services with help of giving proper training to their employees. Due to
effective training success rate and career growth of employees are is effectively increased
at maximum level for long duration.
The last one is facilitating decent financial support to employees and the effectiveness
of this strategy is high in comparison with others. In this method financial benefits are
facilitated to each and every employee from top level management according to their
performance and achievement. With help of various financial benefits such as basic pay,
increments, bonus and others, employees are easily and highly motivated which leads to
sustain their work efficiency and productivity in long term. In context to BUNI travel,
when employees are motivated effectively then definitely workers are able to do their
work with full effort, passion and interest. Due to this company easily achieved their
vision, mission and objectives within low time in market.

Employee well being is related with those factors which is important for maintaining the
success of company effectively for long duration. It involves positive attitude of employees,
contentment concerning work and mental and emotional health of workers. Therefore, for
enhancing the organization productivity workers plays the major role in various ways which are
described below -
Increasing work efficiency – Here management are focusing on providing support and
safety to their workers in any type of situation (Lahav, 2022). Due to having supportive
nature by senior management problems or difficulties are highly reduced for lower level
employees. With help of supportive nature problems of all categories of employees are
easily solved in time. It leads to enhance the employee potentiality, ability and
productivity at higher rate within short duration. In context to BUNI travel, management
must maintain good behaviour and good work culture towards their employees in all
departments. Due to facilitating good work culture to their employees their resources are
utilized optimally from employees within workplace area.

organization overall lifestyle of the workers are highly changed. Due the changing the

recognising their achievement strong positive relationship are easily developed between
employee and employer. In context to BUNI travel, management must provide value and
importance to their employees and their work. Because employees is a very important
asset to company for fulfilling their requirement in time. They are also important for
increasing the popularity and goodwill of the company in market or between customers
effectively. Due to fulfilling their basic requirements and providing value to their work
employees financial, physical and mental health are easily sustained in positive manner
for long time.

PESTEL Analysis is basically a tool which is utilized by organization for evaluating
macro external forces in effective manner. PESTEL stands for political, economic, social,
technological, environment and legal which are described below -
1. Political – It refer to those factors which effects the overall productivity of organization
in political manner (Marrie, Tan, Ekuma and Marriott, 2022). It includes government
policies, government rules and regulations etc. In relation to BUNI travels, it is
mandatory for company that they must follow the policies of UK government effectively.
Policies includes security or safety policies, complaint policy, insurance policy and
others. But out of these insurance is one of the policy which is mostly preferred by
various customers during the time of travelling from the trains, flights, bus etc. In this
way good relationship good relationship are easily sustained government and company.
Economical – It is concerned with those forces which impact the performance of
company in economic manner which includes interest rates, inflation and others. In
relation to BUNI travel, travel agency is a very good option for doing business in tourism
industry. The main reason for enhancing flection in different countries is that in every
location currencies are totally different. Due to this company are able to facilitate the best

Social – It is concerned with those factors which effects the company's performance
socially which includes subculture and culture, family and social class. In respect of

online and offline business online is more effective to company for increase their profit
margin at large scale. In online platform company are able to diversify their products at
large extant and due to diversification the choices of the customers are also fulfilled in
time.
Technological – It refer to the effective utilization of various software and advanced
equipments for running their departmental functions smoothly (Popov and Karásek
2021). In context to BUNI travels, management must use their own official portals for
providing their services to consumers quickly Because in today's time various apps are
highly consumed by all customer segments for searching various types of data quickly
regarding various services and products. In present scenario it is mandatory for travel
agency that they must maintain communication with all type of companies. It leads to
enhance the convenience of users for availing their services in low time.
Environmental – It is concerned with those factors which impact the performance of
organization naturally which includes population density, increasing of pollution. In
context to BUNI travel, they must use eco friendly vehicles such as cycles, electric bikes
etc. which leads to decrease the pollution level easily. In this way all living organisms get
pure oxygen for long time. Due to using these type of vehicles profit margin of
organization are easily increased at large level.
Legal – It is related with the legal norms and government regulations which impact the
productivity of company in legal manner. In context to BUNI travel, management must
apply the health and safety at work act within their workplace area. In this way the job
satisfaction level of employees are easily increased at maximum level for long duration.
Due to high job satisfaction level of employees customers always received the best
quality service from company which increase positive relation between firm and
consumer in long term.

CONCLUSION
From the analysis of above data it is concluded that good performance is a essential part
to each and every employee for increasing their career growth effectively. Due to maintaining
their effective performance, the profit of the organization are easily increased at maximum level
within short duration. Due to the use of various tools such as Key performance indicator,
performance, 360 degree feedback and others products and services of the company are always
delivered to customers in best quality. Due to facilitating good quality service to customers,
positive relationship are strongly developed between company and employee in long term
without any difficulty.
