INTRODUCTION
In order to run a business in an appropriate manner, the basic thing which must be
considered by all organisations is to bring equality and diversity at workplace. Diversity and
equality at workplace is defined as a legal obligation which is used by an organisation to protect
workers from discrimination from caste, gender, belief, nationality, race, age, religion, and so on.
It aims at treating all employees equally in all aspects. This report is based upon Burberry which
is an UK based business retail organisation that deals with ready to wear outwear, cosmetics,
fashion accessories, and so on for both men and women (Allaoui, Bourgault and Pellerin, 2019).
It focuses upon initiatives and strategies which are brings out the organisation for building a
diversified workspace and in determining goals & aims of this project. Further, a a project
management plan is developed and various techniques and tools such as WBS structure and
Gantt chart is utilised. It also includes a research on small scale by utilising quantitative and
qualitative methodologists of research and its representation. At the end, proper reflection and
recommendations are provided in this report.

pay gap at workplace in order to satisfy large number of customers.
This project is conducted to identify that, “ What is the concept of gender pay gap and

controlling. In this context, development of project management plan is done in order to reduce
gender pay gap at workplace.
Cost- It is an amount that is required for completing the project in a proper manner
(Chapman, 2019). Here, the amount that is required for completing this research is £300 and it is
is divided as follows. This amount has been distributed as a promotional expenditure of
amount£100, the technical cost which is required for completing this project is £100 , and other
expenses which are required are estimated to £100.

manager should make sure that quality of research is good for the user. For this purpose, the
researcher must collect relevant data and information which is related to the objectives of the
research. The researcher has a responsibility , to achieve the overall objectives of a research and

Reflection
It is a great opportunity to conduct this project upon a topic which is, “ To identify
different ways in which an organisation implements diversity and equality at workplace. ” A case
study on Burberry. It helped me to develop my knowledge regarding various interesting and
relevant like equality at workplace, diversified working environment and their benefits upon
overall functioning of an organisation. It also helped me to understand the ways in which
equality and diversity can be brought up in an working environment. It has also enhanced various
skills of mine like analytical skills, research , communication skills, data collection skills, and so
on. These helped me to find business goals and objectives in a more efficient manner.
Although I have finished this project in a proper manner and able to achieve its overall
objectives but there are certain barriers and issues which were faced by while conducting this
research. The first barrier was lack of time, the time which was provided to complete this project
was less. As the objectives of this project were wide and time to achieve them was less. This
thing was realised by me in starting and for eliminating this factor, my team members and I
indulge ourselves in overtime. Coordination between the team member is a drawback in this
activity . Keeping these problems aside, me and my team members have successfully
accomplished these objectives.
CONCLUSION

organization. In order to keep employees happy, the most important thing which an enterprise
