It is required for every company is to transform their inputs and outputs into raw material
which are helpful in processing business operations. Along with this, it is necessary for an
organisation is to manufacture and produce desired goods and services as per the clients
requirements (Meyer, 2015). This will assist in gaining huge income and profitability in better
manner. The case study is based on Burger King which is international chain of hamburger fast
food restaurant. They are produce and deliver burgers for their customers and distribute in the
United Kingdom. The main purpose of this assignment is to identify major issue and problems
which occurs while manufacturing variety of burgers. Along with this, analyse what is the issue,
why is the problems and provide proper recommendation.
MAIN BODY
Burger King is the global chain of hamburger fast food restaurants which deliver variety
of products and services to their customers such as burgers, French fries, milkshakes, hot dogs,
etc. the report is going to address the issue regarding specific product which is burger and
analyse its quality for better improvement. They are offer variety of products and services to
their customers that can help in gaining higher profitability and income. The company need to
manage and maintain their business operations which assist in developing make improvement in
their goods and services. The company expand their business in different countries for enhancing
growth and development level and gain maximum profitability.
What is the problem ?
Respective organisation require to effectively operate and regulate business functions in
order to satisfying all customers needs and demand in better manner. It is necessary for firm is to
make proper improvement in their production process through which customer are gain quality
based products on given time period. Sometime company delivery staff member deliver wrong
product at wrong place to unknown person which increasing the chance of mistakes regarding
delayed in delivery of products (Thomas, 2015). There are various issue occurs while producing
and delivering product such as Burger includes delay in delivery, wrong delivery of products,
poor quality and inappropriate use of manufacturing techniques and methods. These problems
create major impact on company operations and functions effectively.

The company manager main role is to deal with managing all issues and problems which
occurs while manufacturing and delivery of products. If Burger King employees does not
delivery their goods at right time then clients will break the contract. Apart from this, there are
large number of companies which are often face difficulties in delivering of goods to their
customers. Delay in delivery of products is the major issue and it is occurs due to some reason
when clients are not given their proper address to the organisation (Calvet and et. al., 2016).
along with this, when company does not record their customers details properly so this will
increasing the chances of mistakes in the form of wrong delivery of product to a person. Poor
quality is the major issue which reduces the goodwill of an organisation and also develop
dissatisfaction among customers. On the other hand, if production team does not handle and
operate product manufacturing equipments at the time of producing burger so this will create
issue for the firm.
How the problem can be solved ?
For resolving such issue, Burger King can use various methods and tools for maintaining
quality of products and services which offered to the customers. It includes Just In Time and
Total Quality Management methods that can be used for make improvement in quality of goods.
These are described as under:
Just In Time – It is the management strategy which align raw material orders from
suppliers with production schedules. The company can used this strategy for enhancing
efficiency and reduction in wastage by receiving goods. This will help them in overcome with
issues such as maintaining quality of new products which are deliver to the desired customers.
(Wamba and et. al., 2015) Along with this, Burger King can used this tool for managing and
maintaining the stock quality such as while making burger as per the clients demand and need in
proper manner.
Total Quality Management – It is that approach which an organisation use to improve
their internal procedures and enhancing customer satisfaction. It is required for firm is to
maintain and manage quality of burger at each level so this will reduces the customer satisfaction
(Shamir, Arthur and House, 2018). An organisation can implement a set of processes to make
sure their goods meet with highest standard in quality. For developing accurate products, it is
necessary for firm is to follow right procedure while making burgers and other items for their
buyers.

On the basis of above description, it can be recommended that Burger King need to
follow proper manufacturing procedure which can be helpful in maintaining business operations
and functions. For reduction in poor quality so company manager require to track mistakes
which create issue to the firm. Also they need to investigate training and development sessions
where they provide knowledge regarding how to make products in better manner (Lardiere,
2017). Along with this, they required to update their techniques and methods through which
company can easily track their customers location and deliver goods in given time period. For
timely delivery delivery of commodities, Burger King delivery staff members require to develop
string communication with their clients so they does not fail in supplying right good at accurate
location. On the other hand,

organisation is to manufacture and produce desired goods and services as per the clients
