With the starting of this module, I gained an understanding that I am going to see many new
changes in me which will help me for the betterment of my future. Education and learning are a
way to help a person to improve their mental skills and become a person better than yesterday.
The same thing I encountered after giving the self-assessment test. The test evaluated my whole
skills and capabilities in a summarized manner. The evaluation test presented the result on five
basic points which can help me in my future growth. These points are analyzing and solving
problem, working well with others, achieving objectives, learning and self-development and
lastly adopting changes in self. All these are basic points which are necessary for human growth
in professional as well personal growth. I totally agree with the result which I received at the end
of the test which stated that I received a 10 on evaluating and finding a solution of problems, 2
on working with others, 5 in achieving objectives, 6 on learning and self-development and 2 in
adopting change (Laureate International Universities. 2018). Not exactly but yes these results
portray my personality in brief, like I am a very practical person and perfectly find solution for
every constraint occurring on my way. I am happy that the tutor analyzed my capabilities in this
field and provided me good marks. Further, as I knew that I need to make myself more
communicative with people and adopt changes easily for which I earned low grades in the test as
well.
From my self-assessment test I learned many things which I am sure will help me in my future
professional growth. I gained acknowledgement about the factors where I am lacking behind.
Like, I got to know that I am less interactive while working in group; I do not like to share my
work or become a part of team activity. So these suggestions will help me in my next group
project, with this I can try to change myself by working on the suggestions given to me. As it is

said that the change is the only constant, so this also one of the field where I am lacking, I need
to be more adaptable towards change and do not judge things.
These learnings will help me to initiate a great start to my professional career, as now I have
become a better person by removing my flaws. With the use of these suggestions, I can now
easily work in group activities and increase my productivity as well. Also with this assessment,
my definition of growth has changed, as now growth for me is an overall development of all
people in all fields. Only knowledge is not enough for a person to grow in the professional
market one needs to be adjustable and supportive, this I have learned through the assessment.
The recommendations given by competency score will help me build a strong portfolio for my
job. Working on these recommendations, I can gain reputation in the market.
