Introduction
Academic integrity is mainly the fundamental learning process in which all the new
ideas and the knowledge is being created through which all the integral systems and the
working is being aligned. This is generally being used in the education system in which all
elements in the various fields are outlined and this helps put to manage the efficiency in the
education system. In this report there will be discussed all the importance and the value of the
academic integrity and there is implied that the first part of this report deals with the
importance of the higher education and also the different kinds of misconducts which are
being related to the academics in all the teachers, students and the other individuals. Other
then this the second part ion this report outlines all the difficulties and the process which are
being taken to produce a game and this will manage and include all the skills and the
procurement with the game design.

An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
It is mainly a process in which all the activities in relation to the academics are
undertaken. This involves all the assurance of the educational sector with the institution to
manage the proper examination and all this are being practised with the honesty, fairness,
respect and trust (Reedy and et.al., 2020). It helps in managing the positive outcomes and the
constituents in the student. The academic integrity helps out in managing and building the
trust in the student as it creates the fairness and also the honesty for all the people. This
should be promoted in all the educational sector so as to build the trust and also to maintain
the positive affect in the general areas and serving (Chukanova, 2018) . It maintain the
transparency in between the teachers and the students and this also acknowledge all the
circumstances with which the time management and the communication can be developed. It
attain to develop the society and also to socialise and frame the maintain the good value for
the working and the method in which they comply all the positive and the integral process. So
the academic integrity is majorly the method in which the education system develops all their
working to be managed with systematic and fundamental approach and all the teachers and
the students will mange the working and the assigned task to be done with all the promotional
segments.

The academic integrity is the most important part in all the areas and this manages all
the importance in which they try to apply and frame all the working and the framework to be
systematically approached and assigned. Some of the benefits of the academic integrity are
like: Increased success chances: As it can be seen that in most of the jobs and the
organisations companies are dealing and willing to manage all the integrity to be
aligned in the individuals behaviour (Dawson, 2021). So this generally helps in
gaining success and positivity in all the working areas and the academic criteria
maintain the positive approach and all the possibilities to maintain the growth and the
upliftment in their future goals and programs. Enhance knowledge: All the students want to gain the better studies in which the
higher education and the skills are to be needed in the society. As when the academic
integrity is being applied it helps in developing and managing the positivity and also
to create the major importance in all the areas (Erçin and Razi, 2021). This make to
remove all the misconduct in the educational sector and this also helps the students
top do their work with actual fairness and also to make their knowledge being
recognised among all. The students in all the areas where the academic integrity is
being practised analyse to gain the depth knowledge and try to make the work to be
done with proper dedication.
Build trust: All such academic integrity helps in making the teachers, students and all
the people to gain the trust towards that particular field or the institution, their is been
seen that all the students will there by manage the governmental bodies and their
working to be framed and aligned according to the integrity gain more students to take
admission in that institutions (MacLeod, 2021).

Academic misconduct is all the illegal activities which are being made and used by
the teachers or the students in order to gain the advantages. It is mainly all the non-ideal
methods or ways in which the advantages in the studies are being taken. Their is being

person and can de morale and also affect the student who had originally managed that
working. Cheating- This is mainly when the person tries to manage and maintain all the work
of another to be copied in order to manage the working and also to break general rules
and regulations. In all the assignments and the examination their involves when
student tries to copy the work will be covered in cheating (Kaul, 2020). It applies
specific amount of misconducts in which it draws and affect the working and also the
nature with which they contemplates the management and the general areas through
which it draws the academic integrity being affected. This implies to make the
cheating to be validated and farmed in all the implied areas and regions (Leong and et.
al., 2018).
Deception- It is generally when the student or the instructor, teacher tries to deceive
any of the document or the important information so as to make the work to be framed
and also to gain or to give advantage to any person then this will amount to academic
misconduct and affect the students in working (Reedy and et.al., 2020).

The process of game designing is a task which involves effective use of various skills
and abilities. The development of game to promote academic integrity encounters different
steps and methods for the constructive design of game. The reflection criteria encounters the
steps and difficulties that have been faced in development of effective game design. The steps
and approaches that are being used in producing game design are stated below: Application of research skills: Conducting research is an integral part of students
academic courses. The effective use of research skill was necessary for me in order to
develop a game which encourage academic integrity. I made use of books and online
sources to broadly understand the concept of academic integrity. I searched on topics

regarding plagiarism and other academic misconduct to gain more comprehension in
order to design the game. Effective use of writing and organization skills: Writing skills are required in order
to effectively create a plan where structure and instructions are clearly understood by
the reader. Firstly I have outlined major criteria of game play then I organized the
information useful for effective game design. Organization skills helped me in
properly executing the directions of game. Imagination and creative skills: I have worked on my imaginative skills in order to
develop a game which looks interesting and intriguing to the audience. The process of
game development requires highly creative skills to think something unique and at the
same time is ethical and values morals. The plot and game structure with clear
instructions are ensured through working on my thoughts process.
Presentation skills: An appropriate game which is designed to increase awareness
regarding academic integrity, I paid emphasis on creating a game which is
presentable. The construction of this game design had take place keeping in the mind
the aspect of clarity. I designed the game which is presentable and do not involve any
inappropriate behavior throughout the game play.
The assignment associated with development of game design included various methods and
formation of plans. The difficulties that was faced in the constructive development of the
game was the creating a structure which promotes academic integrity. I had to critically think
the plot and whole scenario and directions related to the game. The questions related to the
academic integrity was hard to find and framing of questions using reliable content was
tricky.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those
emphasized in producing your game
The reflection of this assessment could be performed with the help of application of Gibbs
model. The Gibbs model is one of the most prominent framework of reflection which
describes major experiences in the process of learning or developing a skill. It includes
various steps which includes description, feelings, evaluation, analysis, conclusion and action
plan. The development and learning of skills are described by highlighting the following
emotions and stages.
Description: The process of game development to promote academic integrity was engaged
me in learning of concepts like plagiarism and practices of cheating. I have developed

knowledge and understanding related to term academic integrity which highly discourage
misconduct through students. I have analyzed my skill gap which leads to enhancement of
my abilities and potential. I have enhanced my skills of imagination, presentation, research
skills and creative skills in the learning processes.
Feelings: Through increasing awareness and apply the practices of academic integrity in the
learning process, I have been able to identify various emotions and feelings. My confidence
has improved and I have understood important concepts of academic integrity. The process of
game designing helped me in evaluating ideas and improved my abilities which are critical
for career development. I have established understanding that values and emotions like
honesty, respect and integrity are important in course of learning. Students and teachers
should exercise these practices in their behavior to encourage satisfaction of individuals.
Evaluation: I have evaluated skills which were previously underdeveloped and now they
have improved significantly. The game design for academic integrity helped in understanding
that plagiarism and cheating are unethical practices which should be highly discouraged.
Analysis: I have analyzed that academic integrity has improved my personality and taught me
values of honesty, integrity and valuable attributes. I have observed that lack of academic and
integrity awareness could disrupt the learning process by increasing the extent of unethical
misconduct.
Conclusion: The process of game development has resulted in creation and development of
understanding which focus upon the practices of academic integrity. The game designing has
helped me in becoming familiar with the patterns and structures of games which promote
academic practices. I have concluded that the application of academic integrity disapproves
and prevents misleading practices in institutions and universities.
Action Plan: The plans and actions that I performed in the process of game development and
for enhancement of integrity practices helped me in gaining understanding regarding
academic skills. I have completed projects and assignments in the process of my learning
which helped me in accessing knowledge.
Conclusion
From the above report, it has been concluded that Academic integrity is crucial for
students and helps in establishing behavioral conduct which discourage unethical actions. The
process of learning in educational institutions should be executed in a manner where teachers
and students respect and treat each other with respect and integrity. The practices of academic
