Section 2
Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game
for Assignment 2
In the process of producing the game for assignment 2, initially we as a team
decided to take the responsibility of the various tasks associated with the topic which will
help in clearly understanding the roles and responsibilities which are being undertaken by the
each of the team member. Based upon the bifurcation of the task, each member looked for the
content and started writing pertaining to the topic and in case if anyone required any help
then, each one of us provided help. In addition to this, we have allocated time for each task so
that can be completed within the given timeframe and reviewed again in order to make sure it
is effectively meeting up with the requirement of game.
In respect to the challenges, we came across in the process of producing game posed
as a challenge for us. Initially it became confusing in respect to what should be allocated to
whom and there was discussion among us in regard to the preference of the task among the
team members and thus resulted into losing out on the time (Fox, Pittaway and Uzuegbunam,
2018). Another challenge pertaining to this was inability to get the idea and presenting the
idea in the way it ought to be. It became difficult in determining the way through which the
game can be produced and result into adding value and meeting with established objectives.

There were times when the team members were not able to get the information which was
very important for the completion of the task. This resulting creating problem in producing
the game.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those emphasized in
producing your game
During the academic year, I have learned various skills which has provided help and
assistance in the process of producing the game. One of the most important skill that I have
learned is the communication skills which has supported me in effective sharing my views
and opinion in a better and effective way. This skill has supported me in effectively
interacting with one another without any sort hesitation which is not only helpful in my
academic life but will help me in performing well in my professional life as well (Topalli and
Cagiltay, 2018). As communication is considered as the core skills which is essential for
entering into a better and brighter career. Another academic skill is the research skill which is
important to get an insight about a particular or specific topic. Sometimes, it is difficult to
find the data or information and with the right set of keywords helps in deriving the data.
Research skills has helped in finding the information on myself without relying upon the
books or someone else who can collect the information for me. This skill has been enhanced
because I have worked on various project and assignments which requires application of
research skills on a wider basis. This has consequently led to making me updated with all the
latest information which I myself gather it from the internet. In addition to this, I have gained
problem solving skills as well. This skill is very critical and useful for my career
development. This skill involves adaptation to the changing conditions and finding out the
better possible way for implementing or resolving the problem without harming anyone.
Through my academic years, I had come across various tasks which requires the specific
options to the selected in order to attain maximum output. This skill requires application of
the analytical, innovative and creative thinking skills. Therefore, this problem-solving skill is
very important in the situation of making choices and thus results into building a sense of
confidence.
The skills which were emphasized upon while producing the game were interpretation
skills, team management skills and the creative thinking. In the context to the interpretation
skills during the time of developing the game, this skill was very useful as it has helped in
effectively meeting up with the desired goals and objectives. Producing game requires
interpreting each team members idea which results into determining the potential
consequences associated with it (Abbott, 2019). Interpreting the existing situation which is

what is learned during the creation of the game which helped in effectively understanding the
requirement of the situation based upon which the ideas and opinion were shared and
implemented. Another skill is team management skill which is very important while working
with a group of people who are having the same goals and objectives. This skill was very
useful as there were times when our view point did not match which resulted into conflict.
This resulted into wasting of time for the completion of the work or assignment. After this,
we as a team worked together harmoniously as we got to understand that in order to complete
the task effectively, we would be requiring work together as a team with harmony.
Another skill is creative thinking and it is important to understand that in the process of
producing a game it is crucial to have a creative mindset otherwise, it becomes difficult to
create it up to an expectation. In addition to this, creative thinking open door for innovation
which is the need for the today’s ever-changing world (McDonald, 2017). These are the
skills which have been emphasized upon during the process of creating the game. Also, these
skills stated above are very useful and helps in effectively meeting up with the long-term
career and professional development. All these skills are very important and gaining it
through an interactive and time bounded game is considered to be very productive and
effective.
Conclusion
It can be inferred from the above that the academic integrity is very important for the higher
education as it provides assistance to the students in carrying out their assignments with
complete honesty and integrity. This help in making sure that the students does not use any
activity which is considered inappropriate in the eyes of university or educational institution.
There is harsh implication of the academic misconduct as one can get expelled from the
college which might affect the future of the student. The skills learned in the academic and
during producing game is very successful will support in growth of the students.
