INTRODUCTION
In order to succeed in the contemporary business environment, it is essential for
management to focus on managing business activities as well as resources as it will result in
accomplishing aims and objectives of the firm (Bolton, 2014). It is also important to manage all
the operational activities related to day to day business. Presently, the study focuses on case
scenario of ABC Company with an aim to understand interrelationship of the department and
functions within the company. Furthermore, the report will also emphasize to design quality
systems and manage health and safety at the workplace as it leads to improve the overall
organizational performance. Lastly, the report will also focus on carrying out the risk assessment
from the workplace so that they can provide proper health and safety working environment to the
individuals those who are rendering servicing in the organization.
TASK 1
1.1 Organizational chart and interrelationship between the different process and function of the
company
According to the case scenario, ABC is a recruitment company that is facing some issues
that are poor management, ineffective leadership etc. that result in reducing thousands of jobs.
Organizational structure is the hierarchy that focuses on different processes and functions
operating within the organization that further assists in accomplishing the goals and objectives of
firm. ABC Company’s prime focus is on marketing and promoting activities so that they can
meet human resource requirements of their client organizations (Hughes and Ferrett, 2011).

example, company mainly concentrates on their recruitment and selection activities through this

judges their knowledge. The last step is selection of candidates for the job post.
1.3 Output of the process and element required to build a quality gateway
Output of recruitment process is evaluated through selecting the competent and qualified
personnel for their client organizations (Turner, Maylor and Swart, 2013). In order to avoid
selecting the incompetent and unqualified candidates, ABC Company must build a quality
gateway through which steps of the process are followed effectively that results in selecting the
competent candidates. The main aim of quality gateway is to drain incapable candidates from the
recruitment process. Selecting incompetent candidates for the client organization will result in
rendering improper services and thus, it will negatively impact the overall performance of
business entity (Kumar and Yakhlef, 2016).

Achievable: The stated objective is achievable in nature as company possesses adequate
resources that assist in selecting the competent personnel for the client organizations.
Reliable: The objective is also reliable as company uses attractive promotional strategies

company in accomplish the objective is enabling proper legal and regulatory framework
so that ABC company must engage in the ethical activities for selecting and recruiting the

increasing the turnover rate as staff will leave the organization as the environment of
