INTRODUCTION
Management of business activities is a critical process that requires strategies and
processes which further assists in attaining the organisational objectives. In this process, all the
activities should be properly aligned with the aim and objectives of business (Parahoo and
Fleming, 2010). The present research study has been made on ABC Company which is facing
several difficulties in managing things. Along with that, problems are also observed in leadership
aspects. Hence, considering the same issues, the subsequent research work is developed.
Furthermore, discussion has also been made regarding organizational structure and cultural
aspects that support in proper management of business activities. Alongside, tools and techniques
of quality management is also discussed in the present research through which ABC Company
will be able to manage all its business practices. The process of risk management is also
discussed along with the health and safety legislation which business needs to apply in the
practices and functions.
TASK 1
1.1 Interrelationship between different processes and functions of ABC Company
All the departments of ABC Company are interrelated to each other and this association
aids business entity to meet the defined aim and objectives. All sections are entitled to follow
diverse practices so that organizational activities can be carried out effectively. The different
subdivisions of ABC Company are sales, marketing, finance and operation as well as functions
of all the areas have close connection with each other (North and Macal, 2007). For instance –
HR subdivision of ABC Company develops diverse strategies and techniques which are needed
to be followed by all the sections so that work can be managed accordingly. With the help of HR
department, ABC Company is also able to delegate duties among employees that enhances the
opportunities of meeting organizational defined objectives. Another example is finance branch
which makes the budget for company and according to that, all the activities are being performed
(Nadeem and et.al., 2013).
For instance - Financial unit has allocated budget for recruitment and selection. Hence,
according to that only, people are recruited in the business entity. This shows the relationship of
all departments and functions too (Mitra, 2012). Sales subdivision is directed with appropriate
target which needs to be followed to enhance the overall profitability and functions of

result it increases value of business entity. This leads the business entity to add more features in
the product categories; hence, customer base of ABC Company can also be underpinned at the
same level. Henceforth, it is clear that there is a direct interrelationship between existing
departments of the organization.
1.2 Methodology to map processes to ABC Company’s goals and objectives
Since, ABC is a recruitment company; therefore, the main process of business entity is to
employ skilled candidates. In order to meet the existing goals of company, proper alignment is

business can be met. In order to promote the goals and objectives, it is crucial for ABC Company
to bring efficient, skilled and talented people in company’s processes. The business has been
facing issues related to poor management and leadership; therefore accordingly, all the activities
can be maintained (Davis, 2012). The environment of ABC Company needs to be changed so
that new practices and processes can be adopted for better functioning of the organization. As per
organizational issues, strategies should be developed as that will strengthen the overall capability
