The ABC company must identify the situations and takes appropriate steps to overcome
in order to assess the risk. There is problem regarding the employee turnover is faced by the
company due to the inappropriate arrangements related to the health and safety at workplace.
There are some of the aspects by which the risk can be identified in a company:
Identification of issues- There is proper identification of the different activities which are
affecting the health of employees and it is the responsibility of the management to take several
steps which gives the employees a healthy environment(Mullins, 2007).
Establishment o the committee- The company required to establish a committee who ensure
that there should be proper measures of health and safety taken at workplace.
Arrangements of safety- The arrangements related to safety includes to prevent the accidents at
workplace and it also involve the drinking water must be clean and proper ventilation. Thus, it
helps in ensuring the safety of employees in the company.

Evaluation- To evaluate the arrangements of health and safety there must b a person is appointed
on a daily basis. The various policies considering the health should be adopted by the
company(Negash and Gray, 2008).

There are some of the responsibilities of the company towards the employees of the
organization and they also gives the safe and healthy environment to the employees as it
motivates them for achieving the goals of the organization. The company required to follow the
laws and regulation in the company :
Health and safety Act 1974- As per this act, the company required to manage the workplace as
there are proper arrangements of the health and safety for the employees(Sklet, 2006).
Display screen equipment act 1992- The work of the company is majorly done on the computers
and there is requirement of the proper lighting and other different facilities.
Provision and use of work equipment regulation 1998 – The management o the organization
must provide the appropriate amount of equipment that are used for performing the different
activities at operations. Thus it will help the employees for enhancement in the level of
performance(North and Macal, 2007).

There are various techniques which are adopted by ABC company including
standardization and feedback. This techniques helps in attaining the measures of health and the
level of safety in the company(Eliasson, 2014). The management of the company compare the
past performance with the recent so that it creates the proper picture of the operations of the
environment. It also helps in reducing the inappropriate events which are held at workplace.
