Reflective Writing
The topic that has been given to me is on the organization Qantas Airways Ltd. As it
is an airline based organization, I am interested in doing the assignment. On doing the
research that I have done on the Qantas Airways Ltd., they have two airlines one is Qantas
and Jetstar, it operates both in domestic and international. The mission of Qantas Airways
Ltd. which I have observed is to help and support the consumers/travelers that will help them
in enhancing the working environment (Arcondara et al. 2017). Through doing this I have
gained much more knowledge about the accounting, finance and management. The sources
that I have used are provided on the reference list of the assignment. Most of the information
that I have taken are form the website of the Qantas Airways Ltd. and also the annual report
and the audit so that I can gain more knowledge about the operations. The team work on
doing this assignment is amazing, as Qantas Airways Ltd. is one of the renowned and leading
organization, it was not difficult to find data about the organization (Investor.qantas.com.
2019). Each member of the group was very helpful and helped in collecting the data and
advised on doing the oral presentation.
I am very much happy with the layout that we as a team has worked and planned that
is being used in the oral presentation. In doing the assignment, there are various strengths
which helped in doing the oral presentation as all the data is being collected by all of us
(Obradović and Karapavlović 2016). With this layout which I have worked on will give a
clear idea about the Qantas Airways Ltd. and also the information that I have included in the
report.
The strengths of my group that I have worked on this assignment is that, they have
patience and a good interpersonal skill. We have an excellent communication skill which help
in doing this assignment. The key strength of the group is that in a group there are several
ideas and various ways through which we can work upon. I do work as a leader in the group

so the responsibility is much more than the other group members as I took the initiative. The
weakness that I have faced in working the group is that I do talk very loudly, so there will be
problem to the member of group as I present something loudly. Another problem which is
related to myself is that there are at the time of looking up certain things it takes much longer
time than usual comparted to others, but the team members does help me a lot in
understanding things certain times (Qantas.com. 2019). In preparing this oral presentation, I
have learned many things about the Qantas Airways Ltd. and how does it operates and how
they maintain all the departments that are accounting, finance and management. There were
no issues at the time of making the assignment as I and my team got all the information about
the Qantas Airways Ltd.
