First progress report in Week 7
There are challenges that one has to face in every situation in life and this project has not
been any different. The first challenge that was faced while doing this project is to organize the
content of the report according to the requirement. As the structure of the report has to be in sync
with the business standard the organisation process took a little time to understand and sort. First
the structure of a business report was sorted. Because this is a team effort the work process was
easy then the team had to decide on the topic that had to be chosen in order to take the report
forward. Based on the requirement and the options provided the team started sorting out topic
which each one thought would be easy to organize this report and one topic which was found to
be common among the two choices that all had come up with. Finally, Amazon.com was chosen
by the group.

As the topic that has been decided by the team to take the report forward is regarding the
evolution of the Amazon business model. The second challenged that the team has faced is to
chose the aspects that are to be include in the project so as to make the report concrete and have a
holistic approach towards the business model of the company. The team divided the work and
researched on all the aspects that was provided and decided upon the approaches that would fit
the topic and would help to analyze the situation in the best possible way. As the business model
of a company is the foundation of the business operation the team had collectively chosen the
approaches will help analyze the foundation of the company.
