• We are starting a start-up business and
for that there is requirement of loan of
up to £40,000. The Local Authority is
taking over one of their failing residential
care homes and we want to run a care
facility and qualify for loan. Our care
facility will be Board and care homes.
This will be residential care facilities or
group homes, are small private facilities,
usually with 20 or fewer residents. Rooms
may be private or shared. Residents
receive personal care and meals and
have staff available around the clock. For
this, there is need of loan of £40,000.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE BUSINESS START-
UP IDEA.
• The business idea is basically for helping old people who do
not have any place to live. The new care facility will provide
free place for such old adults to come and take services.
These services will include medical facilities, residential,
food, etc.

• Increased lifespan and medical technology have merged to
build an ever-greater number of people who depend on food
and shelter from society. There are persons that do not need

find them in the ranks.

THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON CARE
FACILITIES
• Residents in long-term care facilities (LTCF) are at high risk
for COVID-19 infection and for severe outcomes of COVID-19
as they often belong to older age groups and may be frail,
with chronic comorbidities which make recognition of typical
COVID-19 symptoms challenging.

• In the absence of vaccination or effective pharmaceutical
measures, early identification of virus circulation in LTCF
through comprehensive surveillance will help protect LTCF
residents and staff. Early testing to identify symptomatic and
asymptomatic cases and immediate implementation of
additional IPC and occupational safety and health measures
as well as cohorting of infected residents will help minimise
outbreaks and the overall impact of COVID-19 on the elderly.

CONCLUSION
• For this startup which will help hundreds of old individuals to
have residence and food, there is need of 40,000 budget.
There is immediate requirement of this amount in order to
have successful building of new care home facility.
