1CRITIQUE OF THE BUSINESS CASE
Critique of the business case- Pod taxi in Bengaluru
I reviewed the business case of Pod taxi in Bengaluru where the main argument is to
reduce congestions due to increase in usage of cars, increase in usage of public transport and
reduce the traveling time of the customers. The entire work is explained in business context and
entire critical evaluation is done is mixed such as it contains both positive and negative
evaluation. After reading the executive summary and reviewing the business case, I found that
there is no clear objective of this paper. The author finds some difficulties while trying to address
the project issues. There is lack of information on the organizational changes. In the second
section, option analysis, all the options are evaluated properly with its proper descriptions and
weightage. All the options are properly evaluated based on different criteria. Based on the
recommended options, I think that more recommendations would require regarding reduction of
traffic congestion and severe clogging in urban city. In my point of view, the product and project
scope statements are analyzing the business case accurately. The author has provided the
constraints and dependencies properly, but it will be fine if the constraints are to be divided into
time, budget and scope constraints so that the reader can understand the each different constraint
properly. I can able to understand that the scope of this business case is to establish a rapid mode
of transportation in provided timeframe and allocated budget, therefore a proper scope
management plan can help to analyze the purpose of this entire plan.
The study is effective when project key performance indicators are evaluated in a table
format which helps me to achieve the project goals and map success of the project. In section 4,
all the project team members are identified help to recognize set of administrative bodies in
hierarchy levels contribute to project success. After reviewing the project governance
framework, it will be fine if a project governance structure is there. These business casespresents

a budget and cost analysis but a cost benefit analysis will be provided, then it will definitely
analysis the entire budget properly. In my point of view, communication management strategy is
best section in this paper as it helps to gain information and data on project status. A
communication plan keeps track the decisions which are taken by low hierarchy levels.
Implementation of communication plan provides the stakeholders with the information and
communication channels for delivering the information. After reviewing the timing and project
readiness section, I concluded that a project schedule is estimated to schedule entire project plan
as per project requirements. Risk management plan and quality management plan is properly
implemented in the business case so that on time the risks are identified and quality is assured to
provide best customer services.
