INTRODUCTION
Organisational communication is refers to the study which has been focus on the
communication and flow of necessary information around entity with support of the any type of
medium. This has been associated with the various types of communication such as internal and
external, oral or written etc. there are also several type of communication channel which is used
by the people to communicate with each other while working in an organisation(Bossio, and. et.
al., 2020). This is an important aspect of the company as this provides support in planning all
type of activities along with this, it also necessary for the proper coordination in function so that
a better result can be produced. The main motive of organisational communication is to inform,
motivate and persuade. The below report is based on business united which has been function is
to solve all the complaints and issues of students. This report is consist of general theories,
barriers of communication and certain strategies to solve all the barriers which has been followed
by recommendations.
MAIN BODY
General theories of organisational communication
There are various theories of the organisational communication that has been explained
below:
Written and oral: Oral communication is refers to the oldest form of communication in
which is most commonly used by people for exchanging information, as it involves collection
and dissemination information through spoken words. On the other hand, written is type of
formal communication which involves drafted and formulation of message in written form, this
is generally used in business united when a communication takes place in different departments
or students to talk with higher authorities.
Formal and informal: Formal communication is takes place while following a
predetermine procedure or a proper hierarchy and informal communication has no structure as
there is a free flow in any direction. This type of communication helps in create and maintain
relationship with friends and colleagues.
Internal and external: Internal communication is refers to the exchange of information
or ides within the organisation in messages are transferred via personal contact, telephone, e-
mail etc. in which this can flow upward, downward, horizontally and diagonally within the

Different barriers to communication in context with business united
There are various types communication barriers which has been hurdle in transferring message
with its meaning in which senders has transfer. Some of them are explained below:
Linguistic barriers: this is also known as language barrier to communication as in today's
world there are various languages and communication become difficult in situation where people
did not understand each other language (Reddy, 2019). Organisation is consist of multicultural
workforce in which they have their language, in this type of situation effective communication
becomes difficult which directly impact outcomes. As in context to the business united students
in which this one of the barrier to communication as they belong to different regions and they
have raise this issue that they are not understanding language are not able to work effectively.
Psychological barriers: this is the barrier to communication which is related with the
limitation of human body and human mind. While effective communication between people
there are various types of psychological issues along with metal problems due to the negative
impact of interaction. There are some problems through which people are suffering from such as
certain disorders, speech fear etc. which become hard to manage these problems while
communicating. With the perspective of business united college, student have complained in
which they are asking for solution of these problems there are various students that are enable to
tackle their mental issues such as dispersion(Chou, and. et. al., 2019). Moreover, other activities
are important to reduce such problems but due to huge syllabus students are not able to manage
time for other activities.
Cultural barriers: this is refers to the one of the major barrier to communication as their
various people which belong to different culture and they have perceived things in their own
different way. Because of the such barriers effective organisational barrier get effected as
because are not able to understand same thing and are not able to corporate with each other along
with this, it makes a person discomfort while communicating. In relation to the, business united
college, there are various students which have belong to different culture due to which they did
not feel comfortable to talk with each other and also there is difference in the perception of the
individual sue to conflict arise. Moreover, they have complained that they are not able to tackle
this while studying in a college.

college can also tough students about different languages so that they can understand each other

this because of the huge syllabus and are not able to manage time(John, 2018) . In order to

that they can use it in other activities such as outdoor games etc. with support of this they feel
happy and their tensions and depression get reduced and also able to communicate effectively.

the college. Students within business united college have to be encouraged and motivate to
indulge in communication with other students and take part in all activities so that interaction
between students get enhanced in systematic manner. Along with this, it also recommended that
the more teamwork has to be involved as this has been enhance collaborative work through
which communication among students also enhanced. Moreover , before involving students in
any programme it is necessary to introduce them with each other so that they feel comfortable
while communicating. Along with this, college should also focus on formulation and
implementation of strategies on the basis of feedbacks of student so that a better and effective
communication can be induced within campus.
CONCLUSION
As per the above discussion it has been concluded that, organisation communication is
refers to the two way process which is used to transfer information, ideas and suggestion, and
this is necessary to enhance for the better outcomes. Ineffective communication occurs due to the
various barriers it is necessary for the company to formulated and implement strategy so that no
problem arise in future. There are various strategy that can be used by the company in order
overcome with barriers and effective communication take place that has been creates and
positive environment

Recommendation
As per the above analysis it has been measure that business united college is has been
