Two models of business communications and its importance
Business communication refer to process of exchanging data in order to promote an
firm’s aims, activities, objectives and increase profitability within an organization. There are
ranges of business communications concepts accessible in the world of business that can be used
by many companies to get several benefits.

It is one of the simplest one ways communications models that can be utilized to flow key
information and communication between sender and receiver effectively (Elgohary and et.al.,
2019). The only thing according to this model is that a message receiver does here is to obtain
info. This concept follows variety of models of communication including Lasswell’s, Aristotle’s,
Shannon Weaver and Berlo’s SMCR model. Linear as communication model explains procedure
of one way interaction whereby a sender transmits a content and a message obtainers absorbs. It
is utilized across ventures to assist with consumer communication driven practices such as sales,
marketing and PR. Within this concept, sender, receiver and channel plays vital role.

It can be said that sender puts a creative idea and thoughts into a appropriate message and
then transmits it via a channel. This source acts as medium and can modify message into a
tangible structure such as writing, speech and animation.
Transactional model-
It is an interpersonal communication concept that emphasizes dynamism of multiple roles

vary over duration. It considers that noise is existing throughout interpersonal communications at
workplace. It is widely used for interpersonal communication and is also known as circular
concept of communication.
Importance-
It analysed that transactional and linear models of business communications are
important because these gives chance for a lot of noise as interaction is simultaneous. Both these
concepts aid determine and understand elements and relations of communication procedure.
They represent new thought and ideas on different aspects of communication that helps
managements to plan for efficient and effective communication system. It gives overall
understanding of structure and system by which workers and other people can understand
common things.
Barriers to business communications
In recent time, there are many companies in the world facing barriers in process of
effective communication that can impact planning and operations managing functions of
organizations. Language, lack of interest, cultural and diversity are included in list of barriers or
obstacles that are being successful in context of business communications (Jobarteh, Agrawal

do not understand each other language because they belong to 2 different nations, it affects
communication process. It can be defined as barrier to business or interpersonal interactions that
