INTRODUCTION
 Business communication refers to sharing of information among the
people who are related to the organization and communicates for gaining
commercial benefit for the firm.
 This presentation is based on the Rushmore Hotel which is established in
United Kingdom.

COMMON BARRIER OF COMMUNICATION.
 Communication barriers refers to the obstacles which does not
allow message to be converted into the valuable meaning.
 There are various common communication barriers which are
faced by Rushmore Hotel. It involves:
 Language
 Attitudinal barrier

OVERCOME COMMUNICATION BARRIER
 Active listening: This helps in rectifying communication barrier as it is required
by listener to remain active while hearing to the speaker
 Usage of simple language: This strategies suggests that it is essential for the
speaker to use simple and easy language in order to convey actual message to the
listeners.
 Constructive feedback: It is required by the listener to give constructive
feedback to speaker as it is helpful for them in understanding their actual weak
factors which enable listener to identify actual meaning.

INFLUENCE OF CULTURE IN COMMUNICATION
 Culture is considered as the one of the important factor which influences
communication at work place.
 In relation to the Rushmore Hotel, its staff member belongs to different
culture whose first and convenient languages are also not same.
 It states that culture difference becomes language barrier of the employees
as if the staff member belongs to different culture and they will not be
able to discuss their problems with the colleagues.

 This increases communication gap among the employees which might
become reason for the conflict at work place.
 As a result it might reduce the performance level of employees.
 This elaborates that culture has high influence over communication.

CONCLUSION
 From the above mentioned PPT, it has been evaluated that effective
business communication is helpful in improving the working environment
of company.
 It can be said that communication barriers at work place resists employees
to work effectively.
