INTRODUCTION
Business communication is termed that includes exchange of information inside and
outside of business in order to promote smooth operation of business and achieve objectives.
There are several information that needs to be communicated such as activities that needs to be
undertaken, aim, vision and mission of firm so that employees are motivated to make optimum
utilisation of their capabilities. This report is base on a case study of Lucy Gouch that has
planned to start online course during situation of Covid -19 pandemic in order to earn income for
better living. It discusses about several business problems and impact of possible strategic
solution on business operation.
Summary of case study
Covid-19 is such as pandemic situation that have caused huge damaged to economic
condition due to increase in unemployment rates and decreasing disposable income of people.
Lucy Gouch is as interior stylist that analysis or finds that due to corovirus its income tends to
disappear so she felt anxious about her future prospects. There are four shoots call were
cancelled so Lucy Gouch decided to changes my business by creating online interior stylist
course. Therefore, in May Lucy gouch launch its self paced course and just in two week it have
attracted 112 students that are form different places across world that is Poland and Canada. The
platform is rising at rapid stages as most of the student wants to learn new professional skills to
cope with situation and have better lifestyles (Luch goush stylist, 2020). It has been estimated by
global market insight that online course sectors by 2025 will be jump from $190bn in 2018 to
$300bn. Thus Lucy gouch also expected that it can earn form online course approximately
£20,000 this year so despite of reschedules of shoots it has decided to treat it as a passive
income. Covid- 19 have changed business environment as most of the entrepreneur in order to
continue their business operation have planned to shift form physical platform to digital to earn
profit. There are many individual that likes to have online course in order to learn new
professional skills for their better future career so digital media has provided that opportunities.
So, it can be stated that this sector will grow rapidly in future as lot number of student from
different countries can be attracted to join course for improvement of their skills to cope up with
change and get employment.

Exploration of business problem
From the above case study it have been analysed that one of the biggest problem with
online course is that increasing number of online scam that affect long term relationship with
customers. There are many attacker and hacker that continuously monitors what individual or
business are doing in order to get crucial information and make misuse of it for their benefits.
Thus, many people hesitate to choose online course because they are threat to their personal
information such bank detail. One of the examples is that Jonathan little in order to improve or
enhance its skills has planned to select online learning platform. But he was not happy with
course so within a period of two week have decided to cancel and had to faced trouble in
cancelling (Bearne Susie Creating an online course 'changed my life', 2020). Therefore now little
have loss confidence as it think twice before signing a online class so that no further information
or money can be stolen from its bank accounts. So, all increasing online threat are associated
business problem for people that are planning to use digital platform to earn income for their
living. Numbers of scam are increasing at rapid case that contributed loss of trust and confidence
among end user. There are various types of scammer such as some have made sites and charge
people for course but does not delivered products and services (Rodriguez and Armellini, 2017).
Or they may just sells a course but do not offers licence or professional certificates by posting or
email so all such problem and threat hinder various individual to easily trust on online course.
Impact of possible strategic solution on enterprise
Entrepreneur that wants to grow and expand their business operation have to takes steps to
build strong relationship, trust and belief by providing them safe and secure online platform.
There are various possible strategic solution that can be used by entrepreneur such as Lucy
Gouch to attract more student to select online course for enhancing their professional skills,
knowledge and capabilities for a bright future in long term have to takes several steps such as:
Individual in order to retained their customers and delivered best services have to ensure
that no threat or problem faced by people in signing and cancelling of course.
Various systems needs to be installed to find to find scam or hack of account so that
associated student can be aware not to post or provide crucial information for their safety
and security (Michael and et.al., 2019).
Student before selecting an online course should also review feedback and comment of
previous experienced customers in order to select best and safe online course.

Crucial information needs to provide by online course to people that signed in by email
the way they can protect themselves and data from scammer or hacker while using
internet connection.
Computer needs to be protected from antivirus software, firewalls and spam filters for
protection of important information (Zhang and et.al., 2020).
Student should avoid giving their personal information on basis of any text, emails or
phones as there can lead to loss of information or money due to increasing number of
scam. Therefore, online course by creating awareness among people and providing safe
and secure platform to learn new professional skills for great future ahead can easily
grow and expand its business operation.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from above report that due to covid -19 digital platform and demand
of online course have rise rapidly that have created lot of employment opportunities for people to
have better lifestyles. So, it can be stated that Lucy gouch businesses have long term viability if
safety and security of people or student are ensured on continuous basis for better customer’s
satisfaction.
