INTRODUCTION
Communication is the most important function of managers in organisation in order to
perform the basic functions or day to day activities. At every level, for planning effectively,
communication thoughts must be there in the decision making process. Present study will be
based on Sport Love which is an independent London sports and leisure centre business that is
concerned about their ineffective communication due to which customers are getting highly
affected. There will be discussion on the purpose or principles that HR director of company
needs to consider in communication strategy along with explaining the role of participants to be
an effective listener and speaker during meetings.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Theme 1: Analysing the principles and purposes that HR director would need to consider in a
communication strategy
Principles to be considered by HR director
The main purpose of the Principle is that to remove the gap between employees or
management. Sport Love director needs to understand the issues of employees. For that,
company needs to follows some communication principles in order to remove employee threats
(What's A Communications strategy and Why You need one?, 2018). Principle of consistency
refers that communication should always be consistent with the plan, objectives, policies and
programmes of Sport Love. HR director needs to make effective communication strategy for the
employees or staff so that they can come at anytime to resolve their communication querries.
Principle of adequacy refers that message of communication must be adequate or sufficient as if
the matter is incomplete or inadequate, purpose of communication has not been fulfilled. Sport
Love’s HR director should take these principles into their communication strategy to maintain
customer experience and company’s stability.
Another principle of communication which is necessary while making communication
strategy that is Principle of Timeliness which refers the importance of time frames that help in
implementing plans.

Effective communication motivate the environment of Sport Love in order to be more
effective and manageable and also sustaining the better customer network for Sport Love

goals and objectives.

effective strategies as well, just showing the HR Director’s roles and responsibilities. HR

process or plan would make Sport Love workplace more stable and good.

attention towards the statement of another person. Acceptance : Listener should accept the
positive things into their personality to show the good ideas and feelings to speaker. That makes
meeting environment more positive and motivated. Empathy : Empathy is another good
characteristic of effective listener when they shows empathy in terms of critical situation.
As per the Guerrero, Andersen and Afifi, (2017) Characteristics of effective Speaker are
like Confident, Active speaker should always be a confident and fearless to speak anything
during meeting. It shows the how experienced person he/she is. Sport Love Participants should
have this skills to become a good speaker. Participant enough confident about what they are
going to present in the meeting. Awareness : Effective Participants as a speaker should always be
have good knowledge and idea to take meeting more interesting. They know current market
position, new trends techniques etc. Authenticity : Most important feature should participant
have as a speaker that quality of content must be proper and authentication (Quirke, 2017). This
is important because this connects to the audience humanity and allows them to also be
authentic.
Theme3: Evaluating own strength and weaknesses in terms of communicating in business
context
As per the basis of my personal measurement and observation, I found that I am at
communicating message to others either in a written or oral manner. It helps me in my career
profession that also connects me with different colleagues and friends. Whenever, I got to learn
something I just make my own notes that helps me to remember for long time. This is one of my
strength that helps me to improve my written skills. I have participated in several integrated
programmes that enhance my listening skills or knowledge to get my information updated.
As per the Brown, (2017) Communication is very required process which helps to pass
important knowledge from one place to another. In terms of business without effective
communication company does not get their final outcomes clearly (Spradley, 2016).
Communication helps to collect or to generate new ideas and thoughts which very required for
HR director. Apart from that, effective communication channel helps me to motivate in my

Another strength of mine is I am a good communicator that helps me to be a good human
being. I praised my colleagues whenever they achieve something this makes my networking
more effective and good. I have a good quality of speaker, I am good at to present myself in front
of seniors. I am also having a good voice that helps me to get attract people by my
communication. Overall, it gives me motivation and energy to perform my task into more
efficient manner. I am very nice at presenting skills that helps me to other understand my
thoughts and ideas.
ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION
As per the above discussion or presented report concluded the importance of
communication in business environment. Report explained the importance of communication
strategy and the purpose behind communication principles towards fulfilling the business aims
and objectives. That helps to reduce the communicatio0n gap between management and
employees. Also study explained about the communication strategy and some essential principles
of communication such as Principle of clarity, principle of authentication. Further, study also
presented the essential features required in active listener or speaker while meeting is conducted.
Overall, it has been concluded that the employees must be creative and well communicator in
terms of bringing effective outcomes for company.
As per the above discussion it also has been found that, effective communication affects
the best growing and leading performance goals and objectives. As per my goals and effective
working outcomes and performances as well the goal effective working outcomes and better
great services. I am very good at selection right medium of communication channel that helps to
me to upgrade the different opportunity and goals in an appropriate manner (Vandergrift and
Baker, 2015). I have good skills to understand the feelings and issues of employees when they
communicate their issues with me. This strength of mine will help me to keep maintained the
healthy relationship with others. Overall, strength helps me in my career profession which gives
me good outcomes and results on my own performance.
As per the communication, my biggest weakness is stuttering that present myself little bit
down in front of others. In order to reduce my weaknesses, I need to focus on avoiding certain

ineffective communication create inconsistent environment around me.
