Introduction:
Communication in general context is stated as the exchange of the understanding between the
originator and the receiver. For smooth functioning of the business, there has to be an effective
communication that needs to take place. Business Communication includes the proper flow of
communication through a proper network of the organizational hierarchy. Business
Communication is goal oriented and has various modes. The various modes of business
communication are emails, cell phones, video conferencing, and paperwork. The business
communication even involves both the forms of communication i.e. oral and written. The
business communication is framed with various rules and norms. In this assignment, there has
been an email made for the announcement of workshops to be given to the employees. A draft of
a letter is also there which clearly states the different application of business communications
and its uses. Lastly, a report discussing strategies and recommendations related to the business
communication.

Dear Team,
This letter is to make all the employees aware that soon there will be various employee-
training sessions are going to be conducted. As in recent, various road sign errors have been

reported by the higher authorities. Therefore, to avoid such blunders in future I have decided to
conduct a writing skills workshop for the employees. The main purpose of this workshop will
be to enhance the writing skills of the employees concerned for the road signs. Thus, to
provide high-quality training I have requested Mr. Jane White, he is a regular freelance writer
to conduct the training. Mr. White writes for various reputed publications like The Daily
Telegraph, Radio Times and even for the BBC Radio 4.
The entire training workshop duration will be done for six weeks. In this workshop, Mr. White
will discuss all the problems been faced by the employees until date. The solutions,
recommendations, and suggestions will be provided for the same. Apart from the problems,
new strategies and techniques concerned with the writing will be given. Even the use of certain
software's will be taught in the workshop. As after the workshop, these software's will be
installed in the office so that there will be no compromise on the quality provided to the public.
The workshop will start from 10th January 2017.As the workshop will be apart from the
regular office timings. Therefore, the timings of the workshop will be from Monday to Friday
at 6 pm to 8 pm. Since these workshops are not mandatory, therefore, the interested employees
will need to enrol their names beforehand. All the interested employees will need to register
their names with the HR Manager latest by 1st January 2017. The workshop will be conducted
in "A Wing' in the office premises itself.
Since these workshops are optional for the employees, therefore I will appreciate if all the
employees will attend the workshop. As the employees will only be benefited from the same.
The employees will be able to learn new writing skills; software is which will make their work
easy. After the workshop, the work pressure of the employees will be even reduced.

In this report, there has been a detailed discussion on the impact of the Brexit to be faced by the
construction industry in the United Kingdom. The report clearly discusses the consequences that
the construction industry might face once it is out of the European Union. There have been
forecasts been made based on various reports obtained from studies. Further, the consequences
that J.K Roofers Company might undergo are very well stated. Lastly, there are various
recommendations that are given as to overcome the impact of the Brexit on the construction
companies.
Introduction:
Brexit in general terms is known as the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European
Union. Thus after the implication of the Brexit, there was a huge fall in the British found that
could be seen the Brexit has laid strong impact in both the small-scale industries and big
corporate houses.
The purpose to frame this report is to address the impact of the Brexit on the construction
industry. The impact of the Brexit widely on the J.K Roofers Limited, which is a small sized

scale construction industry, has been discussed. The industry comprised of the 60 percent of both
the skilled and semi- skilled workers mainly from Poland.
The Brexit has limited the scope of the growth in the construction industry. As the construction,

Many lower-skilled workers got the employment opportunities in the construction industry. The
U.K's entire construction is widely dependent on the European Union. The situation in the U.K
industry will worsen; due to a reduction in the availability of the skilled workers from m the

audience to be well informed.
Despite, The U.K industry being a huge domestic market, still faces huge losses o n the impact of
the Brexit. As the entire construction, the huge requirement is the skilled workers. The industry
will face a heavy crisis on the same. The J.K Roofer's Limited will also face the huge struggle, as
there cannot be any easy movement of the potential employment of the persons. Due to the
shortage of the skilled workers, the J.K Roofers even need to pay the existing employees a heavy
wage rate. SERBIA, (2016) has clearly stated that as per the reports from the Construction
Intelligence Centre (CIC), there are heavy downside risks to the growth. Even if there can be
growth it will be limited to very little or no upside growth can be seen

J.K Roofers even has a threat that its investors might exist on seeing the downfall in the
construction industry. Mc Cullagh, (2016) has mentioned that even there will be a huge decline
in the investments especially to the small-scale business in the construction industry. Apart from
the threat of investment, there are various other important areas of concern for Tom Clifford. As
per the fall in the investments, the Roofers will also, experience the increase in the costs of the
raw materials as the entire industry will bind to face a cash crunch. The industry is also
dependent on the construction materials and the required amount of the equipment all are mainly
imported from the European Countries. Thus, after the Brexit, there will be a huge impact on the
availability of the materials and the equipment that will be faced by Roofers.

Even it leads to an opportunity the Roofers will have in future, that it can easily trade outside the
European Union. Despite the trade opportunities but still, there is no assurance that can be given
especially in the terms of the revenues, which the company can see (Berry, 2016).
Apart from the fall due to the business, reasons there are various factors that are interrelated that
might affect the entire construction industry. As per the treasury reports, a forecast has been
made that there can be a decrease in the consumption of the household sector. There can be a
rapid decrease in the real estate sector is also expected. Thus, with the decrease in the real estate
sector demand of the consumers will lead to a decline in the projects, which will ultimately affect
the construction industry (Fichtner et al. 2016).
Alapartanen & Kelly has mentioned that even the industry will get affected as there will be a loss
of the funds that are been provided by the European Union in major to the projects already in
working position in U.K. There can be heavy losses that might be faced due to the infrastructure.
As per the reports obtained from the European Fund for Strategic Investment that has the aim to
provide EUR 315, billion as investments in the entire infrastructure related projects. As per the
reports were given by the U.K's Infrastructure and Projects, Authority has claimed that the U.K
is the second largest receiver of the funds laid by the European Union investments

information used in the making of the reports is accurate and has helped a lot to forecast the
results. The information's has helped in understanding the consequences that J.K Roofers might

Recommendations:
There are certain recommendations that I think if implemented might reduce the impact of the
Brexit in the construction industry. Firstly, J.K Roofers must be aware of the fluctuation of the
currency that might take place. Various policy limits and sub-limits are different from the
company to company within the industry. Then the companies should even look in detail for the
policy definitions that are implemented by each individual company. As the policies include the
insurance coverage that will help the J.K Roofers to consider the company's own trade territorial
limits before the exit of U.K is been done. Then, there are programs that will be conducted on the
multinational levels to provide the help to both the multinational and small-scale companies. The
main purpose of these programs will be to provide solutions for their problems. Therefore, the
J.K Roofers can even seek help from the enrolment of such programs.
Conclusion:
In this assignment of the Business Communication, there has been the usage of the forms of the
business communications has been done. Firstly, there has been an e-mail which is also a form of
the business communication has been done. The email has been provided by the superior person
to his subordinates in a mass. The email was used within the organization to convey important
information to the majority in a shortage of time. Then there has been a letter, which includes the
refusal of credit card application made by a customer to the Trump Fashions. The request was
made for their in house purchase made on credit. The letter was a reply to the application made
by the customer. From the help of drafting the letter, the company was able to communicate that
the customer can easily continue cash purchases, thus the company relations doesn't get affected.
Lastly, in the assignment, there has been a report, which discusses the impact of the Brexit on the
