INTRODUCTION
Business communication is important aspects that implies to sharing of information
within an enterprise which is performing for commercial benefits It also determines the method
organisation adapt to share in information for promotion of its products and services to its
potential customers (Guffey and Loewy, 2012). This will illustrate the concept of business
communication and its relevance with nation culture. Further, its significance of its alternations
in order to accommodate in different national culture is also illustrated. Essay determines
importance of cross cultural business communication along with methods used for alteration to
accommodate national cultures.
MAIN BODY
Business communication implies to an effective framework used for sharing information
between people within and outside the firm which is performed for commercial benefits. Cross
cultural interaction is field of study that consider about how the people from various cultural
backgrounds communicate, in similar and different ways among themselves. In present global
business market place, manager needs to provide their major focus on making continuous
changes in their procedure of communication in order to deal with their clients in different
countries (Crews and Stitt-Gohdes, 2012). Intercultural interaction within global business
represents foundational concepts for communicating between the cultures and a framework for
understanding any culture including their own. While regulating business operations in different
countries, managers of organisation needs to adopt various business procedure to accommodate
difference in culture across countries. Business firms will inevitably need to customize different
communication style of their employees who are drawn from different cultural backgrounds. It is
considered as imperative for organisation to understand the cross cultural difference in their
operations and this understanding acquire more importance in the sphere of communicating with
people hailing from the diverse cultures.
National culture can be defined as addition of beliefs, rules, techniques and artefacts that
usually characterise the human populations. Methods of communication is more important key to

understand the culture of people in general along with the specific values, beliefs, attitudes and
onions of particular individual or organisation. Managers in often applies different ways to
communicate their information with stakeholders in national culture. Alteration in business
communication involves the adaptation new models of culture that tends to provide growth to
organisation (Meredith, 2012). Along with this, managers plays an important role in increasing
business interaction and ways to accommodate the operations and understanding of organization.
Internal communication system and process of business enterprise usually gets affected by
divergence of nation cultures. Moreover, alteration in interaction process of organisation also has
its major importance as it tends to increase the capabilities of organisation to succeed in
diversified global marketplace. The barriers to the cross cultural communication could be
perceived as due to management style absence of understanding among the management and
staff, prevalence of power distance, difference in expectation by management, language barriers
and expectation of workers. Hofstede model of cultural dimension theory also determines the
effects of societal culture on the values on its members. The important of business
communication in cultural dimension often related to behaviour and utilization of structure
derived from analysis of factors.
As the world become increasingly global, the requirement of effective cross cultural
communication is essential. In organisation, the cross cultural communication plays an important
role in developing international customers, relationship with employees and business
relationships. For accommodating national cultures, organisation requires efforts, techniques and
resolving issues of different hurdles which commonly prevent the communication from being
effective (Sigmar, Hynes and Hill, 2012). It is plays a vital role towards successful establishment
of products or service in different areas of business environment. In present business
environment, global managers tend develops their strategies for expansion of business after
analysing that how the products and service will affect the culture of people in different countries
(Ferraro and Briody, 2013). There are several barriers have been faced by organisation in sharing
of information with to people in different nations (Deresky,2017). Difference in culture is the
most common barriers that occurs because each national culture has difference set of values,
business ethics, language, behaviours expression and expected Etiquette etc. For accommodating
to national culture, organisation requires business to assess its current culture and needs to
identify its possible hindrances which the organisation may present in different country.

For alteration of business communication, organisation needs to adopt its own
intercultural competence is range of cognitive, affective and the behavioural skills that will
enable them to communicate effectively and appropriately with the people of other cultures. In
order to make change in business communication, organisation also consider various models of
communication which provide them framework to accommodate their business in different
national culture (Kaynak, Fulmer and Keys, 2013). There are various models of communication
such as linear model. Transactional model and interactional model etc. Moreover. Linear model
is used by managers for one way communication and mass communication in which information
is communicated by sender and receiver only receive. For example: Notice provide by
organisation to their employees is analysed as one way communication or mass communication.
Managers use transactional model in organisation is used for interpersonal communication in
which sender and receiver often interchange their roles (Ting-Toomey, 2012). Interviews and
meeting are organised manager to communicate with employees from diversified culture in order
to take their feedback towards organisation as new message. Interactional model are often used
for new communication like internet and communication become linear if the receiver does not
respond.
CONCLUSION
In this report, it is concluded that it is essential for organisation to alter their business
communication in order to accommodate in different national culture. Moreover, National
culture can be defined as addition of beliefs, rules, techniques and artefacts that usually
characterise the human populations. Methods of communication is more important key to
understand the culture of people in general along with the specific values, beliefs , attitudes and
onions of particular individual or organisation. There are three communication models such as
linear, transactional and interactive model which can be used by organisation for altering
business communication to accommodate national culture.
