While working within the organization, I have understood that effective
communication is very important. It is done by listening to the others within the organization
in an active manner, as it will help in understanding the topic in a better way. It has helped
me in gathering the knowledge that the speaker wants to convey through the speech so that I
can ask suitable questions to the person in the points that are of concerns for me (Lee & Oh,
2014). The communication process will be effective in nature when the message is being put
forward in a clear and succinct manner, as the speaker will use the right words and the correct

2COMMUNICATION
The major barriers that were faced by me while working within the organization was
that whenever I had the opportunity to talk, the other persons used to judge and criticize me.
This had resulted in use of indiscrimination against my views within the organization. The
increase in these techniques have resulted in not motivating me in the right manner so that I
can serve the organization in a better way. Another major barrier that was faced by me was
that the persons never paid attention to the concerns that were being raised by me within the
organization (Bernstein & Jain, 2014). Some of the major problems were that whenever I was
facing any issue in understanding the task that was provided to me, I was not being able to
clarify it from my peers or my immediate senior within the organization (Kasper &
Kellerman, 2014). Some of the seniors who are experienced within the organization also use
the technical languages that does not provide any help to me in understanding the language in
which they are communicating. This creates a problem for me, as I am unable to understand
the solutions that are being raised within the organization. Being a fresher within the
organization, most of the senior members have avoided my concerns within the organization.
This was due to the fact that the concerns that were being raised by me within the company
were being avoided or diverted by the senior management (Martin & Nakayama, 2013).
Self-awareness is an important concept that needs to be taken up within the
organization. It has helped me in taking up the responsibility of the tasks that are assigned to
me so that the organization can also benefit from it. From the interpersonal point of view, it
can be seen that the strengths and weaknesses can be judged in a proper manner o that it can
help in increasing my level of credibility within the organization. The benefits that are
present within the organization will help me in understanding my strengths so that I can use it
within the organisation to increase the level of productivity as well (de Bruin & Bostrom,
2013). The mistakes that I have committed within the organization such as delivering the
work after the deadline has passed has helped me in realizing that time is an important factor

that needs to be met with respect to the assigning and submission of the tasks. The feedback
process will also allow me in understanding my mistakes, as it will be pointed out by my
peers who are present within the organization (Joseph-Williams, Elwyn & Edwards, 2014).
The organization also employs people who belong to different cultural backgrounds,
which has helped them in increasing the level of productivity within the system. The diversity
that is present within the culture has to be understood in a proper manner by the organization
so that it can help in providing effective means of communication to the employees. It is
important for the organization to understand and respect the cultural background of the
employees so that they can perform in a better way within the system (Dettmer,

did not discriminate me on the grounds of race and cultural background. This has helped me
in using my skills and knowledge in a proper manner so that the organization can increase its
level of production. The company trusts its employees, which has allowed them to grow its

better way. This has resulted in increasing the quality of the work as well within the
organization, as the services got improved due to the use of better level of technologies
within the work place (Jackson, 2015).
The decisions within the organization has to be taken up in an ethical manner such as
the sales of the products will not be done in a deceitful manner and false promises will not be
given to the employees so that their performances can be manipulated in a positive way (Ford
& Richardson, 2013). The use of the right behaviour within the organization has helped us in
increasing the level of efficiency, which has affected the growth of the organization in a
positive manner. The use of the ethical standards within the organization has helped in
increasing the level of motivation within us so that we can deliver the work in an efficient
way (Jackson, 2015). The level of motivation results in increasing the output of the
