Part A: Hall’s Three Concepts of Identity
Stuart Hall, in his theory subjected three stages of cultural identity that are enlightenment subject, sociological
subject and the postmodern subject. According to the enlightenment subject, the skills and capabilities that I possess
in the environment are the sense of being reasonable and honest as well. My identity includes these two aspects
according to the theory stated by Stuart Hall. These two identities were in-build in my personality from the very
beginning. The sense of being reasonable is very important for a person to get heard in the society; also this sense is
maintained within me till date. In today’s environment, it is very important for a person to know where to speak and
what to speak, this aspect helped to help people solve their issues as well. Further, honesty is the second best feature
in my personality that attracts the people near me. Honesty is a compliment to the identity of an individual, but it is
important for a person to maintain honesty throughout their lives. In the current world, people do not wish to be
honest but I believe that it is the most important aspect in helps a person to attain a good self-image and make a
good image in the minds of people as well (Steimer, & Mata, 2016).
Second stage of Stuart Hall ideology is the sociological subject; this subject talks about the identity that bridges a
gap between inside and outside personality of a person. This subject explains the activities initiated by a person and
their fluctuation between personal and public words. Looking at this aspect, it should be noted that I possess some
traits of extraversion within me. Extraversion is a personality trait that indicates how outgoing and social person is.
It should be noted that I do not have a complete personality of an extrovert but I have mixed kind of personality
(Phadermrod, Crowder, & Wills, 2016). I might say that I have specific personality of ambivert, it means that my
nature has a blend of extrovert as well as introvert. Although, I do not start a conversation but when it comes about
speaking my opinion in public, I do not hesitate to say so. Also, it should be noted that I am not very good in making
people understand and satisfying them, my personality includes the feature of honesty so do not entertain people all
the time that sometimes makes me feel ambivert. Due to which many time I faces difficult in communicating with
people, but this does not happen most of the time.
The third subject given by Stuart Hall is postmodern subject; it refers to the concept that is related to the historical
concept. This aspect talks about different characteristics traits that a person attains but they are not really a part of
their image (Seymour, 2017). Further, it should be noted that many times people initiate activities according to the
circumstances presented in front of them, but it should not be regarded as their self-personality. Similar type of
characteristics that is influenced by this subject is present within me. Anger is one of such thing that affects my self-
image, it should be noted that according to my above mentioned personality traits, it becomes clear that I am not the
kind of person who get angry quickly but according to the situations, many times I face such situations in which
anger comes automatically. This aspect cannot be regarded as a unified part of my self but it comes differently on
the basis of circumstances. The post-modern subject is historical more that biologically defined (Hootz, Mykota, &
Fauchoux, 2016).

Part B: Workplace Strength and Growth
Questionnaire is an impressive form of understanding the specifications present in the personality traits of a person.
So, the evaluating you strengths questionnaire helped to attain an understanding about different capabilities that I
possess are my strengths and help me to identify myself in the professional world. Further, looking at the
questionnaire, I got to know that I am good in helping people and solving their mind. As I believe in speaking less
and listening more which helps in understanding difficult situations effectively and addressing properly. Also, I am
very calculative in taking risks, I believe it is the best feature of my personality as this aspect me prevent myself
from various problems as well. My calculative mind helps me easily solving the complex issues in life without
struggling with anything (Sousa, & Mauro, 2015). Also, it should be noted that I am good in managing the interest
of all the people together. This can help me in my future prospects of professional life. Human resource
management is one of the most important aspects to help the organization grow in the external environment. Thus,
this questionnaire helped me to know that I gain the efficiency to manage diverse employees in an organization
effectively. The strengths that possess will further help me to gain success in the professional environment
(Goodwin, Piazza, & Rozin, 2014).
Corporate culture refers to the aspect that explains the culture of organization. With the questionnaire on corporate
culture, I got to know the capabilities with the help of which I can effectively grow at work place and my weakness
that can create a trouble for my future prospects of professional life. With the help of the corporate culture
questionnaire, I got to know that I have great chance to progress at the workplace by effectively using my skills and
capabilities in the organization (Meyers, et. al., 2015). This aspect explains that I have a calculative mind that can
effectively help me to take decisions in the target market. Strategic decision making is very important for the
organization to grow and if the employees initiate such decisions for the organization by taking risks to grow more
profitably; then the organization can achieve heights (Young, Kashdan, & Macatee, 2015). This aspect helps me to
take decision according to the culture of organization and help them to grow. I gain the efficiency to understand
different culture of team members and co-operate with all of them to grow in the organization.
Part C: Business for Career Choice: Human Resource Manager
The career that I would like to explore is the career of a Human Resource Manager and financial executive. Both of
the aspects are related to the personality traits possessed by me. I can excel in both of the departments if given
opportunity. Initially talking about the financial officer, it should be noted that I have good knowledge of finance
and calculations, so this aspect can effectively help to achieve my personal as well as organizational targets. Further,
the human resource manager requires to proactively take decisions that can effectively help the organization to grow
and keep the employees satisfied (Linkins, Niemiec, Gillham, & Mayerson, 2015). On one hand the financial
executive is responsibility accurately calculating the data and on the other hand an HR manager is responsible for
managing the team and helping employees to sustain in the organization. Further, talking about the HR job, I think
that this job will help me in a better way to work. The work of human resource manager requires the person to look,
