INTRODUCTION
Business communication is defined as main activity in which information are exchanging
for the purpose of attaining the goals and increasing profits. In the business environment number
of organisations are running where it is important for management to analysis the needs of
employees and customers so that a business can be grow effectively (Dwyer and Hopwood,
2019). For running an industry accurately main focus is management theories and activities that
supports to manage the all functions which gives higher performance in changing environment.
The different types of management theories allows leaders to motivate the employees and getting
the work done in certain period of time. This report is based on business problem that is Mc
Graw-Hill Education that is American learning math company. This organization provides
educational content, software, services through post graduate education. This part of report
covers macro and micro economics by involving decision making and strategic management
approach that drive higher performance.
Summary of the assignment
MC Graw- Hill is a American learning maths organization that is big educational
publisher, providing customized educational content, software, and services through post
graduate education. The chosen organisation provides trade publications and reference for
medical, business and engineering professions. The business is operating in 28 countries and has
more than 5000 employees. This organization provides educational services and products by
conducting the classes which improves the knowledge of students and develop their
understandings. In other words, MC Graw- Hill is a learning science industry which is going to
be partner with higher education institutions to spur changes, innovation and tackling the
problems which are facing by such organisation in challenging environment. The aim of
institution is to develop the understanding of people who are reading and raising the retention
rates which can help to operate a business regular. This is managing and handling by many
people who perform their activities and functions effectively (Bannier, Pauls and Walter, 2019).
Exploration of the business problem
In changing environment many businesses are facing different types of problems that
needs to be solve and properly managed so that it can be grow and attain the continuous profits.

This is important for all companies to understand the needs of people who are residing and make
efforts to bring changes which can help to operate and manage a business regularly. McGraw-
Hill is a educational sector which is facing the different types of business problem such as
improving student preparation for college, raising retention rates, and COVID impacts. The
institution wants to improve the student's life by providing them good education, and improving
the students preparation which is creating problem as it is not adopting new technology and
innovation in their teaching way that create the students interest. On the other side, due to
Pandemic all businesses and education hub has been closed which affected the mindset of people

functions that are important to take as it supports to all functions and improve the performance.

Political factor: The relation of political factor directly with government and its
formulated regulations that needs to consider while running a business. This factor consider tax
rates, trade restrictions, foreign trade, government change and new laws that are important to
consider. Mc Graw-Hill is a learning science organisation that delivers personalized learning
experience which helps parents, students and professionals to drive results. The Government has
forced to stop all education authorities and businesses due to COVID attack in whole country
which has created the problem in running the educational classes which reduced the productivity.

Economical factor: This means economical activities of any country and industry that
can supports to operate the business. This involves inflation, interest, income group and others
that needs to consider while in operation. As Mc Graw Hill is facing the challenges of raising
retention rates due to changing income group of people in different countries and increasing the
inflation rate in American country which has increased the cost of education that can be
affordable for high class of people and affected the business negatively (Yuan, Lu, Tian and Yu,

facing the problem in building students career due to changing content and lifestyle of students
who are demanding other classes which is difficult for organization to arrange and created the
problems in learnings (Habiba and Ahmed, 2020).
Technological factor: This factor is uses to bring the innovation, new technology and
changes in their organization which can help to improve the business. This factor impacts
positively new ]learning skills and teaching method by McGraw-Hill builds organisation success
in supporting faculty and students in classroom level through its adaptive technology, data and
analytics and trusted content that increases the learning skills of students and affected the
business positively. Moreover, it make special arrangement for those students who lives outside
and wants to attend the classes for their future career.
Legal factor: This means laws and regulation which are important to consider while
running a business that can help to increase the productivity and profitability. Due to COVID
attack and other government regulation business of Mc Graw Hill has been impacted negatively
as it create the business problem. This create the problem for tutors and management of
education authority as to follow all regulation in case of running their business (Irimias, 2019).
Environmental factor: The relation of factor with health and safety, pollution, green
house and changing in climate that cause a problem for business. As virus of COVID is
spreading all over the world and climate is changing day by day due to which business of Mc
Graw Hill impacted as no one students are taking admission and all classes has been stopped
which reduced the business productivity (van Zyl, Bezuidenhout, and Adefuye, 2020).

Therefore, from the above discussion it has been defined that Mc-GrawHill is affected
due to different challenging situation which are pertaining in current environment that has
created the problem and reduced the productivity in different country.
Strategic solutions supported by published academic research
The business problems which are facing by chosen organisation needs to be solve by
formulating different strategies that can help to complete the research and maintain higher
performance. Mc Graw Hill is engaging with strategic partners for bringing innovation and
developing their business so it will help to tackle all business problem holistically. As the
selected company is supporting more than 150 institutions who are rethinking their approach for
preparing adaptive tool ALEKS PPL and work with many others that will help to improve
preparation for college students. Moreover, arrangement to provide digital material to students
on the first day of class at lower cost in comparison to students purchase them individual could
help to Mc-Graw Hill to make informed decision for improving retention. This can help to grow
a business by managing all activities and running classes regularly (Lee, Suh, Roy and Baucus,
2019).
Mc-Graw Hill has taken different steps in recent weeks that responds towards challenges
which are facing by many instructors during COVID-19 Pandemic. The company is working
hard as it move their different courses through online mode and solve the students learning
problem and business can be run continuously.
CONCLUSION
From the report it can be concluded that learning skills and activities for students are
important as it develop the career opportunities and maintain the higher performance. Many
business problems are facing by education centre such as improving student preparation for
college, raising retention rates and reducing Covid impacts by taking online classes can help to
build career and increase business productivity.

INTRODUCTION
A way of changing in direction between two different media, and sharing the views is
called as reflection. The people see and think things in different way and make decision by
managing their task and functions effectively (Vago, Gupta and Lazar, 2019). Reflective learning
is the form of education in which students tells their learning experience by recognising roles and
responsibilities that needs to perform. In other words, reflection is the changing in behaviour and
overcoming the problem which is facing by an individual. This shows ability and capability of an
individual that states how to work and manage the problems. I was taking the classes where I
observed many things which are important for me and helped me to build a career. I attended the
lecture from week 1 to week 5 where I improved my knowledge and skills in which I was weak.
This report covers my experience which I faced while attending classes and lectures that helped
to improve my skilled and talent.
MAIN BODY
As I reading in universities where I have attend the lectures that started from week 1 to 5
which has covered many topics such as ICT, digital marketing, skill development, developing
changes and others which are most important for individuals in attending the class as it helps to
provide the better opportunities in future period. As all knows skills and knowledge is needed for
everyone as it helps to analyse the risk and challenges which might be arise in performing a
specific task. In case of lack skill and experience it will be difficult for people to manage the
business and get future employability opportunities. I used the Kolb reflection model to share my
experience which I got in week lectures. This model covers concrete experience, reflective
observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experiment that helped me to share my views
and increase the professional skills (Crane and et.al., 2020).
When I was taking the classes my tutor has assigned my a special task that need to
complete in certain time where I analysed my skills. The first stage of reflection model is
concrete experience that used by me to understand the task and assigned which has given by my
teacher. In week activities I felt confident by applying techniques based on feedback that helped
to continue all practices and manage the workings. Meanwhile performing activities I found that
my communication skills is not good that might be create the problem to complete study and

assignment. So that, I started to work on my weakness as I participate in debates, GD and other
curriculum activities that have improved my knowledge and skills in communication.
Reflective observation means what I observed and felt. I spent the lot of money on such
classes where I got satisfaction as it helped to bring the continuously changes in my skills and
behaviour. While activities I faced the problem of lack of ICT skills that being solved after
attending the week 3 lecture that has improved my information communication skills as I get
knowledge about micro soft word programmed that support to prepare reports and manage the
task effectively. Once I felt frustrated for not being able to improve the patient functions which I
had expected from the lecture and given assignment. But my team member solved this problem
as they worked collectively on such project and helped to solve the problem and increased my
patient feeling which is important to complete task and adhering diligent (Yu, W. and Chiu,
2019).
The Abstract conceptualization uses to share the learning experienced as I used this to
analysed my problem solving skills in which I was little bit weak. I noticed that I am not much
good in solving the problems whether it is related to team, workings and solving the conflicts.
This skills have been improved by attending the weak 4 lecture where I gained problem solving
skills in effective manner. While studying I was also noticed that I am weak in numeracy and
calculation skills that needs to be improve. So that the lecture was very useful for me that has
clarified the principles and clinical reasoning in case of attending some techniques. The task
which has given by my tutor highlighted to me that I need to use my clinical reasoning and
numeracy skills that can help to calculate all expenses or budget which arises while managing all
performance. I improved my skills by taking the classes and working with skilled and talented
team that helped to bring the changes and manage the task effectively (Ebil, Salleh and Shahrill,
2020).
Action experimentation using to told that this course became more effective and
resourceful for me as it improved my team working skills. I being used the Belbin theory to work
collective along with team members that supported me to manage the task and activities. This
skill taught me that there should be have good relation with team and motivation which can help
to solve issues and complete work. I noticed that project submission time was very near to me
and many responsibilities were still pending where my team spirit working skills have been
