Business Communication Critique: FACE-TO-FACE COMMUNICATION
This paper is focused on critique one peer post which has analyzed the characteristics
of an exemplary business communication. The post is all about demonstrating the
significance of the face-to-face communication over other technological communication
ways. This original post has attempted very well for identifying the real significance of the
face-to-face communication within this modern technological world (Putnam & Nicotera,
2009). However, there are so many viewpoints as well as information missing while
discussing importance of face-to-face communication over social media communication.
Hence, this discussion is dedicated to offer a constructive feedback including positives as
well as negatives of the original post. In addition, this post has not covered all probable
characteristics of face-to-face communication because in this fast-paced era time plays an
important role hence this positive aspect of technological communication must have been
highlighted (zkjadoon, 2015).
On the other hand, the post is not containing any example to demonstrate the
importance of face-to-face communication over online-communication; however an attempt
of talking about corporate communication with the help of accessing remote locations with
messages was good. Besides, the writer could have used more examples for illustrating the
utilization and importance of face-to-face communication along with technological
communication within different contexts (Summers & Smith, 2010).
In whole, a lot of useful information has been shared for interpersonal communication
