I am currently studying in a reputed college. I have taken up the Marketing subject for
my master’s degree. I was asked to organize a program in the college. I was not satisfied with
my own performance and realized the need of learning the managerial skills for my future
career growth. Along with the degree course, I decided to take up a training session for
learning and developing managerial skills. I have gathered information from various sources
and decided to take up a certification course. This course will enhance my practical
knowledge of marketing. I have also started participating in various events in order to
improve my managing skills. My future job, as a marketing manager will be easier for me to
handle. I will be effectively studying, understanding and analyzing the team members and
will be able to allot the right task to them. These learning give a platform for me to
practically deal with the customers, clients and other members in order to achieve my target
in my future career. I aspire to hold a position in a very reputed company and effectively
handle the team, come up with new strategies so that the current scenario never arises in the
future.

Putting first things first refers to making sure that those things or aspects in life, which
matter the most to someone, must be kept atop the list of the rest of the alternatives. To be
more elaborate, a person must decide on giving priority to those activities that comply the
best with his or her own values and beliefs. If I could adopt this habit of putting first things
first, it would have been highly beneficial to me since I would have been able to sort
activities in a way, which would suit my interests the best, thereby leading to a satisfactory
lifestyle. As a student who lives far from home, I am often faced with dilemmas regarding
choices that I should make. These could be regarding choices between having to complete my
assignments, or go out to the gym to maintain my fitness, or take some leisure time out for
myself. Having a good internal look into myself would give me a vivid idea of my own
values, thereby helping me to make decisions that matter to me the most.
