INTRODUCTION
Communication implies to acts which develop meaning between individuals and
enterprises (Shelton, 2020). This may be done from symbols , signs along with semiotic-al
meeting which are mutually understood by the both receiver as well as sender. Communication
exchange information through speaking, writing, or by using some other medium. This report
talks about BusinessUnited, which is in London and during the situation of loch-down they have
introduced online classes so that they can deliver education to their students. In this report all the
problems which are faced by the college during their online class sessions are discussed along
with what strategies they have come out with so that they can overcome these barriers are also
mention. Besides this, this report also throw light on the theories relating to organisational
communication.

The general theories relating to organisational communication are mention underneath:-
AIDA model: This model usually talk about four stages which are followed before taking and
decision relating to purchasing (Cortez, Gilliland and Johnston, 2020) . It generate attention,
create interest, excite desires along with this goad action which are relating to purchase or not to
purchase. BusinessUnited with the a9id of this model can create interest as well as they can
engage them in their inline classes. These stages are explained underneath: Grab attention: In this stage attention of the clients will be grab and they can easily
engage their targeted audience. In this clients become aware about the brand. In context
to BusinessUnited, they can go for content marketing in which they can resolve the
problems of their students. Create Interest: In this keeping a hold on customers will be done and this start after the
attention stage. BusinessUnited, can utilise this stage in forming interest of their students
by delivering effective solutions of their problems and this will create their interest. Excite desire: In this, desire are converted from “ I liked it to I want it”. BusinessUnited,
in this reference can influence their students and generate their interest so that they are
ready to study online without and disturbance.

Berlos model of communication: In this model emotional aspect of the message are consider.
For this model BusinessUnited needs to get source, effective message. good channel and
students are require. All these are mentioned as under:- Source: It is concerned with the sender to whom thought originate (Brühl and Kury,
2019). In relation to BusinessUnited, the ides of online classes generated to them and for
this they require good teachers who can communicate well, good attitude, cognition of
their respective subjects along with this they require to have good system relating to
social aspects. Message: In this the teachers of the college are know will be delivering their words from
their thoughts. For this they need to have good content, good coding, structure, treatment
and with elements like facial expression and so on. Channel: It will act as a medium between sender and receiver. In context to
BusinessUnited, online medium that is internet will act as a channel for them.
Receiver: In this receiver of the message try to understand the message and decode that
message. In context to BusinessUnited, the students will be the receiver who will
understand the message.

There are various roadblocks which communication face which affect the efficiency of
communication and make it ineffective (Penttilä, 2020). In context to BusinessUnited, they also
face such roadblocks which effect their efficiency and they are mention underneath:- Technical roadblocks – In context to BusinessUnited students, this barrier is one of the
major drawback as due to poor connection of Wi-Fi they will miss out the lessons and
this leads to lack of knowledge what is going own means that students often miss parts of
the lesson and do not know what is going on in their class. Many teacher of
BusinessUnited do not have latest laptops and this delay the loading time period of pages
which are new. Emotional roadblocks: These type of roadblocks occurs when individuals loose control
on their emotional intelligence. In the reference to BusinessUnited, there students get

bored as they listen to their teachers for long time period. They feel detached from their
houses which make them feel demotivated as they are not able to do face to face
interaction with their friends and teachers. Physical roadblocks :These barriers define the conditions which are environment as well
as natural and they act as an roadblock for the receiver along with sender (Usman, 2019).
During the online classes it become very difficult for the students of BusinessUnited to sit
in front laptop screen for long period of time which affect their eyes and they get
headache. Noise roadblocks: It is one of the common roadblock which affect the communication. It
creates disturbance which reduces or confuses the massage which destroy its clarity. With
the constant interruption of students of BusinessUnited on Zoom classes make it difficult
for others to concentrate in online classes. This leads to wastage of time and everyone
focus on unnecessary activities.
Cultural barriers: Cultural roadblocks define the issues relating to cross culture. During
this covid situation many students of BusinessUnited have came to college just before the
lock-down and now they are alone which make they homesick and effect their morale.
They also find it difficult to communicate with others due to different languages and
culture. This create a wall between the students and because of their problem they cannot
be given group assignments.
Outline company strategies to overcome these barriers
In order to overcome the roadblocks for the effective working it is very important for institutes
to work in this regard as they may lead to lack of interact, knowledge, engagement and many
other elements. The strategies which BusinessUnited implement to overcome the above listed
roadblocks are discussed below:- To overcome technical issues: During the period of lock-down students cannot go for
their classes to college so it is very important for institute to form such polices which
make the learning of their students very smooth (Lockwood and Song., 2020). In this
regard college has come out with their own app which offers videos of online classes and
notes so that they can see and download all those lessons which they missed out. To defeat emotional roadblocks: In order to resolve this barriers of communication
BusinessUnited teachers have come with an idea to do regular fun activities during their
online classes which reduces the bore-dam of their students. These fun activities will

will reduces the problem of homesickness . To get over from noise roadblocks: To reduce this barriers BusinessUnited college has
came with an idea of giving task to each and every student who will be present in their
class which will lead to their engagement as well as they will now not interrupt in
between the online sessions. With the enforcement of this strategy they will got waste
their time and this will also enhance the level of productivity of the students. To defeat cultural barriers: In order to solve this challenge BusinessUnited college have
introducing introduction sessions before starting the online classes which helps students
to get connect with each-other and becomes friends this some how overcome their
problem of feeling home sick. This has break the hesitation of students and get a friendly
environment in the online classes.
To get over from physical roadblocks : In order defeat this barriers BusinessUnited
college has started giving breaks between their classes through which students can relax
and rejuvenate themselves (Woodside, 2020). This will also deliver relaxation to their
eyes and they can connect gain with more enthusiasm. This strategy will somehow
reduces the negative effect which online classes impact on their body.
CONCLUSION
From this report it can be concluded that communication palsy a vital role AS it promote
corporation, coordination, smooth as well as effective working along with this it enhance the
planning of the institutes as it generates continuous flow of information. In the difficult situation
like lock-down it become very hard for people to communicate with each other and it give rise to
problems relating to technical roadblocks, emotional roadblocks, physical roadblocks, noise
roadblocks along with cultural barriers. The institutes have framed effective strategies which
will assist them to overcome this problem .
