Communication skills refers to a process by which information is exchange by two
individuals in significant manner. There are two crucial parties such as sender and receiver
involve in communication. In business, communication is important to exchange necessary
information for taking effective decisions. In the present report the company which is considered
is Sainsbury. It is a well known organization of UK which deals in groceries and general
merchandise at global level. There are different models and types of communication have been
discussed in the present report. It also includes barriers of effective communication along with its
principles. In addition, different style of oral communication to communicate with target
audience is also considered in the present report. Lastly, written communication is also
imperative in business setting which is also discussed in the report.

Oral communication is regarded to exchange information through words. It can be done

business environment due to lack of evidence and formality. But, it helps to boost the confidence
level of an individual and also provides a lot of opportunities of learning & growth. Methods of
oral communication are given as under:
