Communication is important part of business activities that involves exchanging
information, facts, message, data etc. from sender to receiver at the workplace. The effective
communication flow plays crucial role in improving business efficiency. This report aims
towards importance of effective communication at the workplace. By implementing effective
communication management can brings fluency in working environment and aids in decision
making. It also brings efficiency in management and facilitates cooperation along with boosting
morale of workforce (Schartel, 2019). This report combines of elements of business
communication. It also define how to improve skills of business communication. The model of
Gibbes is adopted for the reflective portion of this report.

I think the effective flow of business communication is most important at workplace.
This will raise progress of company by improving efficiency in enterprise. Effective business
communication brings appropriate flow of actions in the management and workforce. I think this
will help company in decision making for strategy formulation in business activities. Effective
communication encourage motivation level of employee and they will push their limit as to
deliver productivity in the working environment (Veltsos, 2017). For effective communication
flow we need to overcome the challenges like semantic, psychological, organisational and
personal barriers. It can be improve by enhancing communication skills like collaboration, public
speaking, listening, non verbal and written communication.

I can improve my businesses communication skills by clear concise flow of message and
communication. By delivering specific details of effective communication message so that
everyone can easily understand the convey message. By working upon my body language, I can
easily deliver message and increase scope of communication skills. When I demonstrate in exact
way of message this will improve my communication skills. For effective communication skills I
think one should be good and active listener so that appropriate flow of communication take
place in an organisation. While communicating with other I must think about emotions and

confirmation to the sender that their message and the purpose of message is easily understood by
receiver.

Here the Gibbs' reflective model is adopted to deliver structure of learning by gaining
deep experience. This model is formulated by Graham Gibbs in 1988. it involves several
elements such as description, feelings, evaluation, analysis, conclusion and action plan.
Description- As per the description of my experiences in this report is every organisation

company. I think for effective communication company must focus on improving

Evaluation- I experienced both good and bad situation, when company fail to implement

Conclusion- I have learned that effective communication is necessary part to improve
