Introduction
The purpose of writing this paper is to give an overview of the management issues in the
modern business context. The various issues will be highlighted from the chapters of the
prescribed book. This will help to understand the various issues that have been highlighted in the
book. The business communication has an extensive role in providing the best outcomes in
marketing. The customers have to be communicated properly so that they can achieve the best
results.
Chapter 1 response
The chapter one of the prescribed book discusses the various issues about the
management and communication. In the modern business context of the 21st century, the most
important need for the better results in the organization is the communication between the
management and the employees. This will enhance their skills properly indeed. The managers
must possess some important powers like they have to understand what skills they will have to
show at which point and what the basic needs of the hour are. They must build up some
interpersonal relationships with the teams and this will show positive reflection in the
productivity of the organization.
The language barrier is one of the most important things in the organizations. If the
managers are not aware of the language problems, they will fail to work effectively. This is why
they will have to become aware of the languages. Some of the important skills that are needed in
the business communication are reading, writing, speaking and other things. The managers must
possess some problem-solving skills. This will help them to analyze all the problems and find the
proper solutions within a fixed time. The managers must have the habit of listening to the
problems that arise in the working environment. If they do not listen to the problems carefully,
they might not be able to solve the problems properly. It is a very common thing that the
managers have to be active always. They have to look after all the issues in the organizations.
The managers have to collaborate with all the good an bad things very effectively to get the best
results.
The managers have to make verbal contacts with all the team members and get the best
results that could be possible. The managers have to look after the performance of the team
members and they must encourage all the team members to work harder indeed. They should
take care of the day to day operations in the organizations. The decision making roles in the
organization has to be performed by the managers as well. The change managements will have to
be taken up by the managers as well. The managers have the responsibility of inventing new tols
to run the organization better.

The managers have to adopt certain communication strategies that will fit the
organization better. There are various mediums of communicating with the team members like
sending emails, writing letters and other methods. All the contents that are sent to the managers
have to be understood by them properly. The senders attach many details in the emails. They
have to see if all the ethical norms are being maintained in the office premises. It is very difficult
to communicate with the human beings properly and understand their needs. This is why the

managers have to handle these issues very softly. The managers should possess a good grasp on
the topics of the managerial subjects.
The communication from the end of the managers should be dynamic and continuous.

the customers continuously. There are several types of communication. These are intrapersonal,
interpersonal, public and organizational communication. Several messages have to be conveyed
to the employees. There are many kinds of communication barriers as well. These barriers are
physiological barriers and the psychological barriers. The managers must understand the desire
of the employees, the benefits they want to get from the organization and then they will have to
fix the things accordingly. A proper strategy has to be made by the employees in order to achieve
the goals of the organization. In order to do so they must follow those strategies.
