Introduction:
As the business world is changing dramatically, it is imperative for the people to gain
the habits of becoming effective communicator (Simon, 2019). This paper would put forth
the discussion of seven different habits of effective communicator by assessing the book
namely The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen.
Assessment of the habits of effective communicator:
Communication is one of the most significant factors of running the internal
functionality of a firm in an effective manner.
Be proactive
This is the first habits of the people. Which enable them to be effective
communicator. It can be regarded as the set of unique ability which enable the people to have
self-awareness and choose the way of responding towards the stimulus. With the assistance of
such habit, the human beings become able to be reactive with that of the environment which
is very much needed in terms of choosing the way of life independently (Covey, 2013). In the
context of business, such habit can enable internal communications manager of Byron
Resources to control their feeling which is very much needed in terms of working effectively
within a team.
Begin with the End in Mind
This is the second habit. According to Covey, the human being hold the ability to use
their imaginative power in order to develop the clear vision of what they wish to become. In
the context of business, people with this trait generally have a clear vision, which enables
them to align their action accordingly in order to transform the vision into the reality

utmost importance as it helps the people to use their conscience effectively in terms of
explore the value, which can lead them properly. In the context of business, this habit can
help internal communications manager of Byron Resources to prioritise their work, focusing
on the important business related activity and share their own vision with that of the
followers. In addition, with such habit, the people do not get distracted by the unimportant
tasks.
Think win-win
This is the fourth habit, which lead the people to seek that kind of agreement and
relationship, which are mutually beneficial. People with this habit are more likely to build
strong and positive relationship which is the key of maintaining effective collaboration within

This is the sixth habit according to Stephen Covey’s; seven habit, which leads the
people to explore the way of leveraging the individual differences with the assistance of
healthy communication. In the context of business, this particular habit enables the people to
develop mutual trust among the people which is the key of mitigating greater conflict in the
organisation and figure out better solution (Prentiss & Walton, 2019). This can help internal
communications manager of Byron Resources in accomplishing the goal by leading the
people towards proper direction.
Sharpen the saw:
This is the seventh habit, which helps the people to maintain balance among physical,
mental, social and emotional dimension, which is the key of building productivity among the
human resources in an organisation. This habit helps the people to build long term
