INTRODUCTION
Effective communication skills are ability for the person which helps in a
professional development. This term defines as verbal speech or other methods of
distributing information which get a point across. People will be more open to the
communication if the person is talking with them with the respect and properly.
This report will cover the importance of the effective communication in the both
academic and professional context. It will also conclude reflection of the effective
communication and how it impacts on the individual performance , experience
education and employment.

Importance of effective communication and their application to the academic and
professional context
In my opinion Effective communication not only about exchanging information to
the other but this is also about understanding the emotions of the others and
understanding behind the intention of the other person who is proving information to us.
Same like this being able to providing clear and understandable information to the other
which can be simple to understand for them, which is also a part of the effective
communication (Harun and Hassan., 2018). It is important for us to listen the message
carefully in a way which gains the full meaning of what's being said and makes the
other person feel heard and understood. There are two context of effective
communication which are academic and professional. Academic context - As per my
point of view Students needs deeper understanding and the practical knowledge about
the subjects and books they are learning in their classes. To learn from their teachers
they need to listen their teachers, and they need to ask question to them if they do not
understand. It is important for the students to pay attention during the classes, so they
can understand what their Teachers are teaching them. If I improve my communication
skill then It would be better for me to get more professional opportunities and get
development in company. I realized that if there is poor communication skill in me then
I would not be able to interact with other students and teachers hence my quarries will
not be resolved hence it will impact on my exam scores. This is part of the effective
communication and most of the students in the class do not ask any question to their

teachers because of their fear m low confidence and hesitation (Porwol, Pereira and
Ojo., 2019). Communication skills help them to gain knowledge and these skills help
them to listen , understand the point of view of the teachers in the classes. It is
important for their teachers to teach them effective communication skills because it is
fears session they need to learn. If my communication is good then my teachers will be
able to understand my issues and they will provide me all possible support so that I can
get good marks in school. Professional context- along with the soft skills like the
critical thinking , effective communications skills are also important for the us to get
success in our life. we should learn how to talk with the others in the professional way.
When we search for the job then they need to give interview and in the interview they
check the effective communication in the person, how they are talking , behaving and
listening. T in the business we will need a effective communication so we can talk with
our clients and get a proper and better deal for the company (Ahmed., 2016).
Professional leaders and managers of the company have to control and lead the
employees at the workplace where they give proper instruction to the employees and if
they do not have effective skills then they cannot control their employees, and they
cannot achieve their goals and objective of the business. Poor communication can
create problem for me because I would not be able to get good job and to get promotion
as well. It may create problem for me in clearing my interview round as well.

In my opinion effective communication helps me to prove performance in trhe
class and my result as well which. During the class I used to listen my teachers properly
and alloys used to ask question to them which improve my ability. This ability will be
helpful for in the university level because there will will need effective communication
skills (Jureddi, and Brahmaiah., 2016). Learning communication skills in the school
make
if we will listen them (properly) proper listening will enable us to understand the task
properly, and we can do our task properly and effectively. Mostly it will affect on our
behavior which we will gain by the effective communication. In a effective
communication it is important for the person to behave good with the other, so they will

listen to us, and they will understand our information (Wang And et.al., 2018). This skills
also impact on our behavior, and we started behaving good with the others and make
good reputation among the people. When I talk to the my college friends for the
group project purpose than it is important for us to talk with them and behave with them,
properly which shows our effectiveness and project knowledge. If we will behave not
good with the friends then they will not give their best in the group project, and we will
not able to achieve our group project goals. It is important for the individual person to
implement this skills in themselves, so they can increase their performance art the
collage, and they can achieve success in their life . Without having effective skills they
cannot develop professionalize in themselves. Effective communication skills in the
students to perform better in the collage and show their skills to0 their teachers.
Effective commu8nication skills helps me to increase my experience which I have get
from my school teachers I have learn that how to communicate with the other so they
listen to me and I can gain their trust. I can make many friends in the collage with the
effective communication skills and I can also impress other by showing my professional
skills.
CONCLUSION
As per the report has been cover the importance of the effective communication
in the both academic and professional context. It also has been concluded reflection of
the effective communication and how it impacts on the individual performance ,
experience education and employment.
