success and coordination in an organisation. This involve exchange of ideas, thought or views
among the subordinates in both ways either verbally or non-verbally. This report is based on
several barriers of communication and with various strategies to overcome them so as to
facilitate smooth operation in an effective and efficient manner. The message sent by the sender
should be simple and easy so that it develops positive attitude and develop trust in them.

Business communication is described as the process of communication which involve
exchange of ideas, thoughts, actions and many more that takes place in a business environment
as it can be done either in formal or informal. In other words, it is a two-way process which
involve the interaction between two or more persons either through phone or face to
face(Atouba, Carlson, and Lammers, 2019). This report is based on Go Travel which provide
wide range of services such as rendering personal advice and travelling ideas which aims to fulfil
the requirements of clients. This report provides various theories and also consist of several
principles of communication so as to ensure success within an organisation. This report covers
various strategies to overcome the barriers and facilitate effective communication.
2. Literature Review
As per the view of Graham Williamson, 2014 Cognitive Dissonance is a theory that seeks to
explain the ways in which people holds several contradictory beliefs, ideas or values that
become consistent and also find a way to resolve the conflict. When there is an irrelevant
between the behaviour of public, this results in a change in attitude also provide solutions of
various problems in an effective manner.
3. Analysis
3.1 Discuss various theories of communication
Effective communication is very necessary for an organisation as it help in achieving the
goal in an effective and efficient manner (Denton Trent, and Friedenberg, 2019). Also, it is
essential that message should be clear and complete in an understandable manner by following
the objectives, policies and programmes of a business enterprise. Thus, it helps in avoiding
misunderstanding and confusion and provide assistance in achieving the task in a short span of
