The term cultural intelligence defines the unfamiliar context of sense that determines the
capability of a workplace. As per my understanding, cultural intelligence is the combination of
self-awareness and self-relation. In the cultural intelligence, people get to aware of traditional
and cultural bias. I strongly believe, cultural intelligence has higher level of contribution in terms
of influencing the interpersonal skill of a person. I have identified that in current complex
business environment, reducing the knowledge gap between the employees, adoption of cultural
intelligence has become necessary. Therefore, it can be said that in case of increasing the
productivity of an organization, the cultural intelligence needs to be developed. As per my
understanding, the cultural intelligence helps to develop the interaction skill of a person, this skill
can help to develop effective organizational culture.
Understanding different culture in the workplace can help to strengthen the interpersonal
skill of a person. Using the skill both the internal and external conflicts can be solved. I believe,
as an employee it is required to increase awareness regarding the cultural intelligence so that I
get the capability to deal with the stressful situations. It cannot be denied that due to different
language and lack of understanding of others’ approach can create the conflict in the workplace.
In case of dealing with the situation I need to focus on strengthen up my communication skills
and emotional intelligence skills. It can be easier for me to understand others’ approaches.
In case of developing strong cultural identity, communal identity of mine can help me
determine the social class of mine. I strongly believe, bringing the improvement in
psychological health, communal identity is required. Analyzing the Canadian working culture, it
can be said that due to increasing job opportunities in this country, large numbers of employees
are being imported from the foreign countries. In the diversified working culture, it has become
important to develop effective cultural intelligence awareness among the employees so that they

can respect cultural identities of each other. I believe, as an employee of Canadian organization,
understanding others’ culture, I can be able to develop both my personal and professional skills.
As per my understanding, social identity is very important for understanding the
diversified culture I the workplace. It is true that religious diversification in the workplace, some
of the cases influence the internal conflicts. I believe, social identity also influence the behavioral
characteristics of a person. In order to improve my self-esteem sense, I need to involve myself in
different socializing frameworks. As the religious identity reflects through the social identity,
therefore, it cannot be denied that, depending on the social identity people treat others. In that
case, social identity is very important to be developed in right manner. I believed, using friendly
nature of mine, I can easily cope up with the others, which can help me in my professional life.
Examining the Canadian workplace culture, I have identified that sustaining here with different
cultural challenges is truly difficult. In that case, analyzing own capability for understanding
others cultural emotions is very important.
Body image or physical identity plays an important role in terms of developing the
positive self-esteem. Body image is being described as the important part in developing the
interaction skill of a person. Depending on the body image, impression of a person on the
listeners’ mind can be developed. Hence, it can be said that initial assumption of a person is
being influenced by body image. It is true that developing an effective body image is needed for
me so that I can be able to convince others. I believe, body image also very important to reflect
the behavioral characteristics of mine. I strongly believe, in order to sustain in the diversified
working culture in Canada, I need to focus on improving my body image. Some of the cases, I
have identified that I become shy to interact with others, which can be considered as drawback in
my professional graph.

I have noticed that due to my nervousness and lack of patience, my interactive approach
hurts others. As these are very important for developing an effective cultural identity, I need to
focus on bringing the changes in my behavioral characteristics. As per my understanding,
developing my interpersonal skills, it will be easier for me to improve my awareness regarding
the culture intelligence. I also believe, dealing with the diversified working culture, positive self-
esteem needs to be developed. If I will be able to develop positive self-esteem, it can help me to
deal with my behavioral drawbacks. As per my understanding, an effective cultural intelligence
awareness, it will be easier for me to sustain in the Canadian working culture. By continuing this,
I can say, the interpersonal efficiency can also help to improve my professional graph.
