Introduction:
The report provides the learning of the self- reflection which is based on effective business
communication and there are three sections that mentioned the learning of my own experience.
Effective business communication is the essential element for each industry which gives their
effective performance to satisfy the need of the customers. Effective communication gives aid to
provides the exact information and improvise the effectiveness of the decision-making process.
So, the first section is all about the various concepts of the communication that is useful for the
employees in the environment of the business. On the other hand, the second section provides the
introduction with the one concept that mentions in the ten weeks and presents its importance in
the business. Alternatively, the third section is about the two concepts which are helpful for my
future growth in professional life.

Week 1:
Effective communication: I have learned from the first week that effective communication is an
important element in the professional area and it is helpful in every aspect of the business. On the
other hand, I learned from this week that coordination in the work is possible because of the
effective communication and sustainability is available with the help of the ethical
communication process. So, the ethical communication gives aid to build an efficient team and
communicate the important information in the appropriate way (Cooren, et. al., 2011). This is
also helpful to give the efforts of each individual in the one direction so that it’s easy to get a
better outcome for the business organisation. So, this concept of communication provides me
help to communicate my thoughts and point of view from the perspective of the business.
Alternatively, effective communication is also helpful to build the power management to
segregate the work in the employees and provides feedback to enhance the performance.
Week 2:
Non-verbal communication and listing skills: According to the study of week 2, I get the
knowledge that non-verbal communication is helpful to enhance the confidence, enthusiasm, and
professionalism in the employees. This is beneficial to satisfy the requirement of the customers.
Alternatively, I get the learning that listing skills should be available in the employees so that get
the information in an effective way and give their efforts in the right direction. These two aspects
should be available in the employees so that invent the trustworthy factor in the duration of the
interaction (Jia, et. al., 2017). The communication and listing include some essential elements
which give aid to transfer the information in an effective way such as eye contact, posture and
vocal tone.
Week 3:
Good written communication: In week 3, I got the knowledge that the good written
communication skills are as important as the verbal communication skills. The good written
communication is possible because of the official emails, telecommunication sources, and other

Week 4:
Written academic skill: According to the learning of the week 4, the academic written skill is
the important aspect to develop the efficiency in the employees and enhance the development of
the work to grow the business in the market. The written academic skill is helpful for me to
prepare the presentation and report in an effective way to deliver the exact information so that
professionalism maintained in the business organisation. I get the ability to properly frame the
sentences and paragraphs according to the professional requirements.
Week 5:
Written academic essays: The week 5 is all about the literature review and self-reflection which
get from my research work on the business organisation. The literature review is based on the
point of view of the authors that provides the knowledge of the business models and theories to
growing in the competitive market. The literature review is helpful to provide the various
scenario of the business and the method of making the decision according to the requirement
(Callahan, 2014). Alternatively, the self-reflection written provides the aid to gives the personal
point of view on the particular situation to make the effective decision to get a better outcome for
the business.
Week 6:
Public speaking approach: This week provides the learning to me that I should develop the
public speaking skills so that satisfy the need of the customers and interact with the other person
from the outside of the organisation to represent the business in an effective way. This skill
enhances the sales, attract the more customers and communicate with the more parties to develop
the background of the business (Bodie, 2010). The effective public speaking approach is helpful

various opportunities for the business to equally earn the profitability in other countries. The
growth of the business in the global market is possible because of learning different languages
and accepts the diversity of the countries by the employees. So, the cultural diversity gives aid to
develop the mindset of the people in the business to enhance the innovative ideas.

employees should have the ability to process the communication in an effective way which is
possible by the organisational structure. The structure of the organisation gives the path to the
communication process in the step by step process which is successfully accomplished by the
employees of the business. According to the study, there are two types of communication in the
business such as external and internal (De Nobile, 2017). The internal communication proceeds
in the organisation which based on the goals, objectives, and success of the business and the
external communication is carry on with the customers and stakeholders. The medium of the
communication is done by the various ways such as emails, telecommunication, face to face

speaking skills which is beneficial for the growth of the business.
On the other hand, the public speaking also builds the ability to participate in the debate and
