INTRODUCTION
Communication skills are considered the essential aspect for enterprise, which help for
organisation to plan, manage, organise, promote and innovate the different marketing,
management process. It is always supports the business market which inspire or motivate
individual people to work towards organisational goals.
In this report, it will discuss about communication theory or model which primarily used in
organisation. Moreover, it will identify the different kind of communication method or technique
that will support for enterprise to handle the complex situation or condition. However, it will
examine the principles of effective communication in order to eliminate or remove barrier
effectively. Discussed on the communication of writing that able to demonstrate the information
or data by using business styles or methods.
TASK 1
Communication models and systems used in businesses
Communication models are defined as systematic approach in term of business process
representation which helps in understanding how an effective communication works. Different
communications model are basically represents the symbols and metaphorically, in general
perspective, it is the best way to break down the information from complex to simple. Therefore,
it keeps record the components in proper manner. Communication models are always
encouraging traditional thinking of individual people. This is directly impact on the human
communication.
Different type of communication model used by Businesses-
Linear Model of Communication- it is one of the simplest way to establish single
communication. Therefore, it can flow message in straight line from sender to receiver. There is
no concept regarding feedback. It is only perform the task that receiver does here to receive a
particular message. Alternative models are basically following the linear model of
communication such as Shannon Weaver Model, Lass well’s model etc.

Transactional Model of Communication- this type of model is related to sender and
receiver both are known as best communicators. In this process, both sender and receiver plays
equal role in communication. Sometimes, this type of transaction model is related with social
reality, traditional culture which brings more relationships. This type of model is representing the
non-verbal feedback such as body language, gestures.
Interactive Model of Communication- this type of model is look like at the transaction
because both are establishing a two way communication. It is the mostly used for new media
such as internet. Many people can give a positive response towards mass communication such as
news, videos etc. Moreover, individual people can exchange their views and innovative idea.
This model is basically followed the interactive communication.
Communication methods and technology in businesses
There are different kind of communication methods used in the businesses which helping
to exchange information from one person to another.
ď‚· Written- it is based on the email, Facebook post, contract and tweet etc. all kind of forms
are considered as written communication. Primary goal of this communication method is
to provide the information in proper manner. A poor writing often lead to embarrassment
and confusion among individual people.
ď‚· Verbal- this type of communication happens when a people can engage in speaking with
other. It is based on the face to face through telephone, Zoom etc.
ď‚· Nonverbal- this type of communication method is all about the facial expression, eye
contact posture and movement. People can speak more than actual words. For Example-
manager can establish as conversation with boss with regards of cost saving idea.
ď‚· Visual- This type communication method is related to visual society such as Facebook, it
is the best way to visualize with videos, memos and image. Organizations have been used
the visual content by positing on the social media platform.

Benefits of formal and informal communication to organizations.
The benefit of formal communication in the organizations which means that staff member
can use official channel to share information from one department to another. Such type of
multiple communication takes place between manager and employee. But it may be oral or
written which is completely depend on the managers.
All communication should be recorded and use for business growth or development. For
Example- manager of business is to establish a formal communication staff members and
identify the grievance report, leave etc. Moreover, advantage of formal communication is to
maintain authority, easy to handle flow of information or data.
On the other hand, informal communication takes place in organization without
consideration for formal line. Usually, workers are exchanged their view, opinion in order to
satisfy their social need or requirement. For example- employees are talking about the attitude,
behavior of superior, discuss with manager in regards of any rumors.
The benefit of informal communication is to create or develop free environment for
employees, handle a social relation and etc. these are useful for organizations to achieve
desirable long term business success.
How technology is used for the different types of communication in a business
environment.
Nowadays, an advancement of modern technology is becoming important role played in
organization. it may support to establish a strong communication in which target the potential
audience. Sometimes, it is needed to give without travelling to meet them physically, rather than
giving a better presentation to staff member in workplace.
Some different way in which businesses use modern technology include:
With consumers- generally, it can be used the different technological tool or platform such as
messenger, Face time, Skype etc. these are providing the better facilities to establish a quick link,
efficient and international consumer service.

With other in businesses- it is now a lot of thing which become easier for organization to
communicate with staff members in regards of working for companies. People are selling their
product between enterprise, establishing a collaboration in better way to share information or
data.
Making communication effective
An effective communication system is one which achieved its success objectives.
Communication is effective approach in which it helps to eliminate or remove barrier during data
transmission. There are some important principles of effective communication such as clarity in
ideas, attention, consistency, appropriate language, adequacy, informality, feedback from others.
These type of communication principles are always supporting the business to share a proper
information or data from one node to another.
Main purpose of communication is to exchange the ideas among different people working
in the enterprise, it should have become consider as helpful in effective exchange of information
or data.
Physical barriers to communication- it is the most common barriers to effective communication.
These type of barriers are eliminated by using the communication principle. Barriers should
include noise, closed doors, equipment used. Sometimes, in large office various employees are
combined with faulty equipment, which may result in server barrier to the effective
communication.
Cultural barriers of communication- in the workplace, there are many individual people who
have been performed the different tasks. Different culture have represents as various meaning for
basic values of society. Sometimes, it has been increased conflict among people because of
cultural issues. Hence, this type of barrier is being eliminate or remove by an effective
communication.
