Language differences and the difficulty in understanding unfamiliar accents- The
individuals belongs to different cities and to different cultures. There were followers in
the tube who came out from outside the country for enjoying and exploring various
different places in London. On the other hand the localised are specifically from the UK
and having their respective accent. This is a barrier between their effective
communication because some passengers were unaware of different foreign languages
and few tourist were unable to understand the accent in which the Londoners work
communicating with them. This created misunderstanding between them and people
faced problems while travelling with one another because they were another of watch
the other person is trying to convey to them.

Communication barriers are harmful and negatively impacting the interactions and the
environment in the tubes between the tourist and the Londoners. But these
communication barriers can be removed and a positive environment can be created
within the tube. Effective communication is a very essential and important tool because
it provides clarity to the receiver and an appropriate reply to the sender that help them to
fulfil the goal behind conducting the communication. Therefore few strategies are
suggested to the passengers travelling in the tube to remove these communication
barriers and effectively interact with one another while travelling and have a healthy
environment around them.
LO2

As known that every common factor has two aspects one is positive and another is
negative. It has been discussed that effective communication is very important in business
but there are several negative factors that becomes a barrier in between the effective
communication and hinder the goal of the respective communication to undertake. These
two types of communication barriers are being faced by the passengers either the localities
and the tourist who are travelling in tubes for reaching to their respective locations.
Difference in perceptions and viewpoints- The first communication barriers which has
been in between the interaction of people in the tube is their perceptions and their separate
few points about respective topic. The barrier of difference in perception and points have
had a great impact on the mind-set and most importantly their interactions. Every
individual belongs to different areas holding different experiences and backgrounds. These
differences are created there separate mind-sets and mentalities sometimes becomes a
barrier in effective communication. This is the first barrier that is being faced by the tourist
and Londoners while communicating with each other in the tube. The perception by which
tourist travelling into the tube was to explore different places in London on the other hand
the common local people were travelling to reach to their workplace or either come back
home. This opinion difference and perceptions created a lot of chaos between the people

Negotiation is a very important part of communication that means the negotiator works
towards a particular objective by building a relationship with the other party and resolve
different disputes. Therefore culture influences the communication and the negotiation
process. It is very important for the people who are indulging in an interaction to respect
each other’s culture and be very sensitive towards it. The passengers that are the
Londoners and the tourist have to be aware about each other’s culture and the way they
communicate with one another so that no one harms other person feelings and raise
question on their culture.

Be aware of language, tone and content of message- The sender plays a very important
role in conducting and Brooklyn attractions with people. The sender is the person who
starts the communication and therefore it is very important for them to be aware of the
language the tone and the content of the message they are trying to convey. The language
should be a common language which is understandable by both the parties that is sender
and the receiver. Along with it the sender also have to take care of the tone the use while
transferring information to the other party. The tone of the message should be very polite
and the sender have to make sure that they do not enjoy any feeling of the receiver. the
message that is crafted should be brief and come size that is easily understandable
ignoring all the technical words.
Be a good listener- The second strategy which is being suggested for effective
communication and removing the barriers is for the receivers of being a good listener. The
receiver also plays a very important part in making the communication effective because
they have to have a good listening skill in order to reply appropriately to the sender. The
receivers of the message have to be very attentive and provide their full concentration
towards the sender while interacting so that they can provide an appropriate reply making
the communication.
LO6

awareness.

backgrounds and mentality of a particular community and of the individuals belonging
to it. Culture profoundly influences an individual think they behave and the way they
