considered as one of the source of education, entertainment, and information. Social networks
through social networking sites offer a platform to the businesses to communicate with their

their experiences, interest, and beliefs related to the product or service. The social networking
site is very useful for the business as it helps them in creating positive brand image in the
eyes of the customer (Cheung, Chiu & Lee, 2011).
Strength – The social networking sites such as Whatsapp, Facebook, etc. work as the
communication tool are very effective for the business as the message posted on these sites
can reach maximum number of customers and is very cost effective as well as very
convenient for the user as it can be used on different devices like mobile phone, laptops,
computer, etc.
Weakness – One of the major weaknesses of using these sites is that it exposes
business to different privacy issues. This is because of the data sharing that takes place with
the social network, which results in shrinking the amount of privacy for the average person
every day. The user agreements that is agreed by the user at the time of signing of for
availing the services of a specific site might even provide a license that enable the platform to
make use of the content or information including pictures (Zaidieh, 2012).

Email is considered as the modern and broadly used communication system of the
business that is supported by the information technologies. The significance of the use of

Strength – Email has global access, as anyone can get the access to the inboxes of
their email across the world till they have a mobile device or computer that can help in
connecting to the internet. Besides this, email could be used in multiple manners. It is proved
to be one of the most effective promotional and advertising medium. Businesses make use of
this tool for the promotion of their services and products.
Weaknesses – Email may be considered to one of the tool of communication that can
cause misunderstandings among the users. This is specifically true for those who do not take
must time to reach whatever they have typed before sending it to someone. In addition to this,
a virus can damage the computer. It is common for the user of email to access or open an
attachment without getting the knowledge whether it contain virus or not (Fariborzi &
Zahedifard, 2012).
