INTRODUCTION
Business consultants are described as the professional advisers who solve the problems of
business that it is facing, consultant provide various suggestions to solve the problem in effective
manner and facilitates it to run efficiently. Most of businesses hire the consultant who help to
solve the problems and for get better and effective advice in order to handle problems. If
problems are resolve properly then business is able to achieve its goals and objectives
effectively. There are two projects are given in the report such as Blooms and Blossom and
Fisher's Brewery. These are facing various problems and challenges in conducting their business
in the market environment. Various factors like competitors, target customers and external
environment factors of both projects are covered in the report. Various recommendations are
given in order to solve the problems effectively.
TASK1
Explanation of clients and their problems
Blooms and Blossom: Blooms and Blossoms is the family run business that provides
various natural skincare products to their particular customers such as for mothers and babies.
The organisation offers high quality products that are free from various chemicals and harmful
substance like paraben, micro plastics, various colourants and silicones. The respective
organisation offers the free testing service to their customers and it use the packaging process
that sustainable. Products of organisation are produced by the natural and ethical sourced
ingredients. It is founded in the 2008.
Problems of Blooms and Blossom: The respective business face various problems to conduct its
business effectively in the market place and reach their potential customers. Some of problems
are discussed below:
Advertising: Advertisement is related to the promoting and communicating information
of product and services with customers (Costa., António, and Dias., 2020). It is the technique to
convey products, services to the public in order to persuade them to purchase these products.
Blooms and Blossom face problem in the advertising. Marketing department of the organisation
is not so strong. Organisation have the low budget and resources so it can not pay attention
towards advertising activities.

Analysis of competitors: Competitors are very important factors that affect the
performance and profitability of business. These also provide the similar skincare product in the
market. Competitor analysis is process to assess the strengths ads weakness of the current as well
as potential competitors. Bloom and Blossom face the difficulties in the proper analysation of
competitors that offers similar products. Competitors affect the organisational functionality and
profitability.
Social media optimization: Social media optimization is defined as use of various social
media networks in order to manage as well as grow the organisation information on digital
platform (Goldsmith, and Moutinho, 2017). It increases the brand awareness of the respective
products and services among the customers. Blooms and blossom is not so much active at the
digital platforms and do not have enough resources to advertise their product on the social media
platforms.
Market research: market research is the process of gathering information from directly to
the potential customers. It helps the organisation to select the target market and get the relative
feedback and opinions of the customers about the product and services. Blooms and blossom do
not conduct the proper market research and customer do no respond favourably.
Fisher's Brewery: Fisher's brewery is the only brewery of the High Wycombe since the
1950. It is the micro business that provides range of products that are distinct from others.
Problems of Fisher's Brewery:
Research into high wycombe and target market: It is the biggest problem that is faced
by the Fisher’s Brewery to reach its target market and customers. The organisation uses the
traditional methods market research, so organisation is not able to achieve target market goals.
Event promotion: Event promotions are the medium to promote goods as services
through event websites, google ads and various social media channels (Kim, and Nam, 2018).
Fisher’s Brewery do not use digital marketing methods so, it is the problem to the for the
brewery’s shops to promote their products.
Event management: Event management is also the challenge of the for the Fisher’s
Brewery because it do not have the skilled and experienced personals to manage the events.

Competitors: Competitors are defined as the person, business and organisation that compete
against the other person or organisation. In the business, close competitors are termed as the
rivals. Competitors of organisation provide the same products to the customers. In the market
various type of competitors are conducting their business. These competitors are direct
competitors, indirect competitors and replacement competitors (Mistry, 2019). Competitors
affects the business performance as well as profitability.
Competitors of Bloom and Blossom: Bloom and Blossom provide the skincare products
to their customers. There are various companies that are also providing skincare services. These
competitors provide same products even in the low prices. That affects the profitability ratio of
respective organisation.
Competitors of Fisher’s Brewery: Competitors also affect the activities of respective
organisation. Competitors also provide the variety of wines and beer enhance the competition.
Target customer market: Target market is described as the potential customers for whom the
organisation wants to sell its products and services. Target customers market is a part of total
market that the organisation target to serve its goods. Target market is divided in the market
segment that contains similar characteristics, demands, preference, demographics as well as
income factors (Kim, Lee, and Han, 2017). In order to develop effective market plan proper
marketing research is conducted by the organisation. After set target customer market,
organisation produce products according customers demand and satisfy them with their services.
Target customer market of Bloom and Blossom: The respective client target the mothers
as well as infant babies. All products are produces according to targeted customer demands.
Target customer market of Fisher’s Brewery: It target the adult customers for their
product and services.
Influencing factors of external environment: There are various factors that are exist outside the
exist outside of organisation and affect it in various ways.
PASTLE analysis: A PASTLE analysis is defined as the tool that recognise all external factors
that are faced by the organisation. All PESTLE letters are stand for the political, economic,

social, technological, environmental and legal factors. All these factors affect the activities of
affect the functions of every type of organisations. These factors are discussed below:
Political factors: Various government rules, regulations and polices affect the organisational
functionality and profitability. These factors have positive as well as negative impact on every
type of organisation these factors are political policies, fiscal as well as taxation policies and
stability (Phelps, and Wood, 2018). Bloom and Blossom as well as Fisher’s Brewery
organisation also get affected by the political policies and changes, these are closely and properly
examined.
Economic factor: Economic factors are related to the various economic conditions, that
have direct impact on every organisational profitability. Changes in the employment as well as
unemployment rates, interest, inflation rate have impact on the overall functionality of the both
respective organisations.
Social factor: Social factors are related to the demographics, cultural trends, attitude
changes and changed in the lifestyle. These factors facilitate the organisations to understand
customer’s needs and demand clearly and provide then products and services accordingly.
Regular changes in the social factors also affect the business activities and profitability.
Technological factors: Technological factors are determined by the technological advancement,
innovation and development that have power to affect all organisational activities (Selyutina,
2018). Various digital technologies facilitate the respective organisations to adopt various
advanced and innovative technologies in the manufacturing, distribution as well as logistics
activities. These advancement needs high level of investment and experts to handle in effective
manner.
Legal factor: An organisation has to understand all legal policies of area in which business
operates its activities. There are various changes are done in the logistics, organisation’s have to
aware about all those changes in order to run business in effective manner (Podeschi, 2021). It
includes employment legislations, healthy and safety law and consumer law. If both
organisations follow all legal regulations than government will not interrupt in the organisational
functions.
Environmental factors: There are various environmental factors that influence by the
surrounding environment and affect business in various manner. Climate condition, sustainability

By the above discussion, it can be concluded that clients face various challenges and issues to
conduct their business in various customer or market segments (Teece, 2018). All these issues
are properly analysed and suitable strategies are formulated in order to overcome their impacts.
These issues are discussed below:
Competition is the biggest issue that is faced by the clients. In market segment
various competitors are offering same products to customers at low price affect the
profitability.
Clients are using the traditional methods in their organisation, that affect the
organisation customer base. It is also a challenge to the respective clients.
Availability of resources is the issue that effect the performance of the organisation.
Supply chain management is the not properly defined in the organisation.

As per the above report, it can be concluded that there are various problems are faced by the
businesses to conduct all activities in the competitive environment. These problems are
appropriately analysed by the organisation and suitable strategies are formulated in order to
