along with the discussion of the importance of management information system in the

Information system are the formal, organisational, sociotechnical system that has been
designed for collecting, processing, distributing and then storing the information required in
any organisation (Laudon & Laudon, 2016). Any particular information system majorly
intends to support the operations, decision making and management. Any information system

Cloud computing
The cloud could be easily used for hosting server and the servers that are hosted in
cloud are referred as the cloud server. This is the virtual server that is executing in the cloud
computing environment. It is developed, hosted and then delivered using the platform of
cloud computing using internet and it could be accessed remotely. The data that has been
stored in the cloud server of any organisation could be easily accessed by any individual with
the proper authorisation details. The documents could be uploaded in the cloud storage of the
organisation and then any individual who requires these documents could access the cloud
storage and view the data. The cloud storage of any organisation supports the real time
communication by allowing the swift sharing of information among the authenticated users
(Hashem et al., 2015).

work together towards the common purpose for achieving the business benefits for the
organisation. The collaboration could be significantly utilised in the group projects as it
allows the individuals to work together for achieving any defined and mutual business
intention. The tasks of any group project could be distributed equally to the respective group
members and then monitor the progress of the individuals associated in the group project.
Difference between client and server
A client computer could be referred as the small computer that easily accesses the
server using any network in any organisation. The client side of any network is the two tier
architecture. Any server machine is the large capacity computer that could store vast
collection of the files like application as well as data files.
