SELF- DEVELOPMENTAL CAREER PLAN
When I did my past assignments, I realized that the Kanter’s most appropriate option for
me as a student who is about to finish college is the route of entrepreneurial career where I can
actually get into business consultancy. And this all will actually shape my career in the way I
have always imagined. This is because of the description of the career which Kanter has given
me the confidence being a business consultant. This can be ensured that I develop myself as a
business advisor and subsequently the individual progression and advancement will consolidate
all the learning through partners. Thus I will be a huge asset and will incorporate as a key
resource.
Furthermore, for my business also, I will make sure that I keep my trademark and USP of
"Brilliance Is My Foundation" (Inkson, 2014). This will be most appropriate because I will be
able to develop myself as a person with the correct knowledge and skills and even puts me in the
position to have my business flourishing. This analysis requires a proper development plan and
thus I will be focusing on how things can be taken care of in the long run. (Bubnys &
Zavadskienė, 2017).

Table- Self Development Plan
Me being a student who wants to have his own company I feel that I can put a lot of
theories in my work like SMART goals as per the above table in my workings and can actually
work in the area where I feel I will succeed. Thus with this kind, it will give me the right
approach and also the right kind where I need to learn and be the best in my field. And even as a
student who is about to finish college, I believe that it will be appropriate to actually make sure
that I am done with my goals being set and I achieve them with the smart ones.
The model by Granovetter's idea of 'the quality of weak ties', I feel that I have the right
ties and the key outcome is the assistance from the strong and weak ties is associated. (Tümen,
2017). Then again, the ties which are probably going to prompt assertiveness, this will help me a
lot and will help individually. (Carolan, 2005).
