the industry. This problem is also required to be focused by the board members of London
School of Science and Technology so that the college can deliver best education to the students.
Discipline: LSST college is well known for its education systems as best education is
provided by it which has resulted in the high level of students who are taking education from the
institute. Apart from this, the level of discipline among the students is very low and due to this
most of the individuals are not able to attend their classes. This issue is leaving negative impact
upon market image of college and the management is required to take strict actions against it so
that discipline could be maintained in the campuses (Aronoff and Ward, 2016).
Lack of online presence: Online presence is very important for all the entities as it helps
them to be the first on the search engine whenever one searches for best management school.
LSST is having its own website which is very attractive but its presence on social media and
search engine is very low. Due to this, most of the students who visit from other countries are not
aware of it. This problem is required to be responded so that the long-term goals of LSST could
be accomplished.
Feeling of isolation: LSST is having five different campuses in United Kingdom which
are easily accessible for all the students. The building of the university is not having open places
and due to this most of the students feel isolated. It affects their mental health and ability to
learn. It is required to be dealt by the London School of Science and Management so that it can
help the students to learn in a good and open environment (Biech, 2019).

Competitor analysis: The level of competition in education industry of UK is very high
which is resulting in increasing competition for LSSD. The major competitors for the entity are
UCL Quantum Science and Technology Institute, Imperial College London etc. All these
institutes are offering same education like LSSD and due to this the organisation is facing
challenges. It is essential for the college to make sure that it formulates specific strategies that
can help it to deal with high level of competition. For this purpose, it will be required to enhance
its online presence and provide such facilities to students that are not offered by its competitors
(Lee and Seo, 2018).
CLIENT’S ISSUES
London School of Science and Technology is operating business under education
industry and it is also dealing with some issues that are required to be dealt properly. For this
purpose, all the problems that are faced by it should be assessed and then the major issues should
be focused to find appropriate solutions. The main three problems which are faced by LSST are
listed below:
Discipline: The level of discipline in the students of LSST is very low and due to this
most of the students who are highly focused with their studies are not able to get proper
education as they get disturbed by others. This problem is the major issue which is required to be
resolved by the college as it is leaving negative impact upon studies of students who are focused
with their education (Lee and Seo, 2018).
Feeling of isolation: The building of college is not having proper ventilation which is
resulting in isolated students. It is affecting the mental health of students who are studying in the
college. This problem is also major for LSST as it affects the ability of students to learn and
study properly. Stress, depression etc. are the health issues which are taking place for students
due to this problem. All the students need a positive and open place where they can study
properly but isolation affects their studies. It is also selected as a major issue because due to this
mind set and education of students is getting impacted in negative manner.
Lack of support: LSST is also facing the challenge regarding support of government as
the legal authorities are not supporting it because it is private management school. It is very
important for it to get support from the government to meet all the predetermined objectives of it.
If it will not be able to get it then it will be very difficult for it to deal with the competition in the

industry. This issue is also selected as a major one because if it will not be resolved then it will
be very difficult for LSST to carry out operations properly (Nissen and Seifert, 2018).
RECOMMENDATIONS
Following are some of the recommendations that are provided to LSST to deal with all
the three major issues:
Board of directors should make effective plans and policies so that support from
government could be acquired.
The management of school should make strict rules against indiscipline so that the
students who are performing in-disciplinary activities get punished and won’t repeat the
same mistakes again in future.
It is suggested to the top authority of college to arrange outdoor activities for the students
so that their feeling of isolation could be reduced. Apart from this, they can also conduct
outdoor classes in open campus which will increase participation of students in the
classes (Ward, 2016).
By paying attention towards all the above recommendations LSSD will be able to deal
with all the issues that are faced by it in systematic manner. All the suggestions will help the
organisation to make sure that the problems are responded properly and now the predetermined
objectives could be achieved.
CONCLUSION
From the above project report, it has been concluded that business consulting is a process
which is focused by consultants for the purpose of identifying issues of clients and then
suggesting them ways to respond all of them. While analysing the problems it is very important
for the consultants to analyse targeted customers, competitors and industry in which the
organisation is carrying out all its operations. It can help to formulate effective strategies which
could be used for the purpose of dealing all the issues that are affecting the execution of
operational activities.
